Should be ok.to transplant 3 days after being toped. Or if you look at it the way I do if it's alredy stressed from toping I might as well just fuck it in to its new hole. Bad advice. But yea. You should be good after a few days.

Thanks man...any tips on how to get them out of the 1 gal pot with least amount of stress should i cut the pots?

If you have someone that can help you, you should be able to turn them upside down and they'll release fairly easily. Might be hard by your self though. Otherwise you may have to cut the pots.

As said above if your on your own I would cut the pots not worth any accidental fuck ups. There looking nice tho man keep it up.

You don't need to cut the pots. Let them dry out some, squeeze the sides, put your hand over the top of the pot, and flip them over. You might need to shake a little but they'll slide out. I do it that way all the time and have for years. Some people even trim and break up the roots when they transplant. Just like transplanting flower or vegetable starts. There are some plants that throw a fit if you disturb the roots. Cannabis isn't one of them. It's not a delicate piece of fine china or anything.

Everyone grow style is different and ones aloud to do what ever they want, but i don't think you are anywhere near ready to transplant those over. I would bend those stretchy ones over or top lower, then give 2 weeks more in to those 1 gallon pots. Create more of a bush before you transplant over to what looks to be 7's or 10's. Plants look super healthy though.
Are you the same guy who cousin i think said maybe low yields? Looks like you are off to a super good start!

They sure don't need repotting yet.

I go by how long between waterings to decide when to repot. Once they need water within 48 hours of a good soak it's time. I let them get pretty dry so they are loose in the pots tehn just lift them out by the main stem, saw an inch off the bottom of the rootball and drop them into new pots filled up to the right height. I'll sprinkle a tsp of myco on the new soil and wet that down before dropping the plant in and filling the sides up then water everything real well so it's saturated.

Plants never miss a beat and I'm usually seeing roots coming out the drain holes within a few days. Never see anything resembling transplant shock and consider that a myth.

I'm off right now to repot 8 out of 13 so I can flip to flower in a couple days. Need them cropped and in the can before the end of Sept when I'll be running out to BC for a few weeks to visit family. Hoping to be catching some nice Coho in the Vedder on my 65th b-day in mid Oct. Time to start raking in those senior discounts! :D

Looks good.

I had to dig out a new 107L bale of ProMix HP to finish up my transplanting. Don't think I'll be getting that all done today as I'm mixing manures and stuff with it and that takes a while.

I'll go do one that's in a 10L pail into a 20L one and then can calculate how much I'll need in total to finish up the rest.

How big you going to let yours get before you flip?

As long as you're aware that they'll likely go double or more in height during the stretch and have enough headroom for the added height.

Mine are going to need drastic measures to stop some for sure but I'll just roll the stems and let the tops flop over if they get too tall. Looks like crap but works fine. I only have 6'6" in my grow room and they are going to be baking under a 1000W HID. I'll have the light on my light mover so it can get as close as 8" without frying the tops. If it gets too nuts I'll just hang the bulb bare and arrange the plants around it like a stadium grow.

How big are those bags you're growing in? Look like 7gal or so. My biggest are 4gal plastic pots. Never seem to get rootbound in those so I figure they're big enough. My CBD ones look like they are going to reach for the sky.

Coffee break over and back to mixing soil. 2 - 10L batches to go at least. tired.gif

What brand of bulbs did you get? I'm a big fan of Hortilux. I have older magnetic ballasts and just recently had to replace the capacitors in my 1000W MH/HPS and a 400W HPS. When a digital stops working they're pretty much a paper weight after but the mags are like old Harleys. Just fix 'em up and keep going. :)

If you want to learn lots more about growing check out the following link.

I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS . I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as many are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.

Agree. I have some cheap Ruth’s Tree Farm bags with their third plants growing in them. The outsides are getting fuzzy from handling. The tearing of any roots doesn’t hurt anything and even stimulates new root growth.
