I might look into a silencer...I'll make that call when my fan arrives. As for the variable speed controller...The fan I ordered is supposed to have one.

oh nice, never mind than, lol..
as for the duct muffler, i just prefer to try and keep my grows as quiet as possible, and between the speed controller and muffler, i'd say it easily cut the db level by a good 60% or more..

I would have had my carbon filter today....But apparently the courier couldn't get in the building..so now I have to wait until tuesday.
It's funny... the 2nd courier who brought me my inline got in fine.

Question.....what's the optimum temp and RH for a grow tent? right now with just the light on I'm reading 30c/86F and 40 RH. I have my light about 42" off the ground

LMAO welcome to the show. I'm also doing my first grow with fox farm ocean forest and a couple buddies of mine said to not to worry about nutes or even ph, the soil by itself should be fine. Not that you can't or shouldn't, but with everything else to set up and monitor in the beginning stages it's one less thing to do.bongsmilie

I'm going to use the fox farm with my Ak 47, and critical purple. the picture is my moby dick xxl planted in root farm hydro soil. Good to know about the nutes and the soil...Thanks.
