i stopped on i95 at a rest stop in maine coming back from the gf's one time, and wouldn't you know it, they had a tank thingy right inside of the small rest stop that sold lobsters.. i wasn't too sure on how good rest stop lobster would be, so i passed..

they do have tons of small little trucks up and down rt 1 pretty much the whole length of the road that sell lobster and other fresh caught seafood right out of them.. most of them cook them and all right on the road side for you.. my gf has a friend who's father fishes lobster, has a little kitchen setup in a big barn type thing on their property where they'll cook them up for you and have 'em ready to eat.. she's always getting a few free ones for like mom's day and her bday and what not.. good peoples..
