Soon it won't be a matter of trying to convince people to buy electric vehicles, they'll just be the better and more affordable option. Our grandkids will grow up wondering why we ever burned gasoline to drive around in the first place.

Well that was kind of my point actually. Does it matter how a gun is classified when in fact they all kill? The amount of ammunition and the rate of fire are the key things in a mass killing spree. Hand guns that hold 12 rounds, rifles that hold upwards of 50 are IMO assault weapons. Until there are better controls and reasonable laws enacted then it will continue. I guess you have to start somewhere though and an assault style rifle is a good place to start, gotta start though. I find it ironic here that virtually the same style of weapon can be an assault rifle (banned) and another not but very similar in appearance. non restrictedrestricted
