Sure why not? Grow lamp and you should be good...
I have a set up already lights and tent the whole nine yards. Just wanted to see if it would be fine to grow in winter months. I get skeptical with snow on roof tops from old posts of people seeing snow melting due to grow lights lol just don’t want nosy neighbors lol. Would led lights cause snow to melt say 2 600w led lights?

Only if you tried growing in an attic which is a bad idea year around for a multitude of reasons

Your roof should be keeping snow outside and your house warm. I have no idea what you are asking about snow melting? Why is it a problem if snow melts?

Yeah I’m not using an attic just regular bedroom in grow tent. So with 2 600w LED’s should i be fine.
I’m not an inside grower but I don’t think those lights are going to melt snow from your roof or cause any concern like that.

Okay thanks that’s what I was thinking but wanted some other opinions. I think just one 600 is only pulling like 270 from the wall so running two 600w should still be fine then right?

I've kinda been wondering the same thing. Just starting my second indoor tent grow session. Going from a summer to fall grow session I've already noticed drops in room/tent temperatures along with a lower RH. Just trying to think of what adjustments I'll need to maintain a proper grow environment.

I’m not sure of the heat that they put off but I don’t think they would do anything noticeable outside. I often read of folks having multi light set ups. The other concern as @bsett mentioned above, is seeing what adjustments you will have to make for any differences in the grow environment.

Can you grow in the basement? Two good things about winter growing, being too hot or too humid is not a big problem.

You may need a small space heater specially when lights are off during veg and the temp drops. If the temp inside is always around lower 70’s then you should be good

You can drive around town and basically know if someone is growing if you know what to look for when theres snow.
If theres snow 5 inches thick on every roof pretty much but one out of 100 is totally clean, but they still have the same roof type and pitch, odds are good they are growing. Many people vent to the attic and that makes the roof warm enough to melt the snow. A normal household doesnt heat the attic at all, only the main living areas. It's generally easy to see from outside the house if the attic is a living area based on if it has windows or wooden slats for airflow.

I def find humor in driving around and spotting sloppy growers, I'm sure cops do too. But I worry much more about tweakers than cops.

So just growing in a bedroom in a grow tent with two 600w LED’s will be just fine then? Lol
