Okai sooo..can anyone help me? there is so much misinformation and at this point everything i ve read about cal mag and ro water is so confused let me explain. Im using RO water and AdvanceNutrient cal mag what i did is reach 150ppm 1st week , 200 ppm in the 2nd week and the base for all the grow. For example in week 3 i take my ro water i put cal mag in there until reach 200 and then i add fertilizer when i have to added but is that enough cal mag?
i was very sure im not gonna get any Calcium or mangensio defiency using cal mag but then is saw this. First of all is this cal or mag def is 1st time growing? i really think it is but im not sure . View attachment 4417954View attachment 4417955View attachment 4417956View attachment 4417957BTW she is in week 5 View attachment 4417953 In general she looks fine i think , but older leaf are doing these and i really isn't now if it's a cal mag def or a excess or a nutrient lock or what
A little feedback on a few things I see...

leaf tips pointing down..(as pointed out)..Are you feeding too much nitrogen?
Second, saw some leaf edge pointing up..Is your plant getting to close to the light?

Third, for the leaf spot..I don't see much on other leaves...Is there a chance some drops of water spilled while watering? Leaving water spots on leaves while lights on can act like magnifying glasses and burn..
Good luck

This is a common misconception. I've always sprayed my plants with foliar when lights are on. Never had this happened, I also believed it to before I tried it out for myself.

Its not a misconception...
If you have an even mist..it disperses the light..If you have droplets or pooling it concentrates the light...

I think it's one of those theoretical arguments that doesn't have implification in reality

I've sprayed with or without surfactants and created both drops or "pools" of water. I've sprayed plants every week for many years. It doesn't happen, period

Honestly i think i just overfeed the plant but i dont know because i gave every watering cal mag until RO water until reach 200 ppm thinking there is not gonna be enough cal mag for the plant , so always use Advance Nutrient cal mag in soil every watering. Ligths are quamtum boards 20 inches above the plants but im using a driver to controll the power i dont think ligths are to close
But looking at them it looks like cal mag def but im not a expert.

Do you have a way to check for bugs, likely thrips? Also, could be beginning some heat damage? Possibly too much N? I too strictly use r/o water and add General Organics calmg at every water/feed. If I don't I will see deficiencies. I grow in FFOF and up until this grow used GO bloom and grow as well as calmg. This grow I switched to M/C.

i didnt see any thrips in the entire grow , my temp is around 28ºC-29ºC i dont think is heat damage , maybe coulb be to much N , i was looking for that cal mag they say is organic but cant find any place to order one in EU
