Yeah it definitely is sad cos what an over the top outstanding plant shish was, in quality and even more in yield... kicking myself a bit over that one.
Most long time growers have one or two or those 'ones that got away' they kick themselves over. At least yours was accidental, I culled mine because I was sick of it and sure something better and new would always come along.

This is definitely true and why I've spent up a bit on beans recently, but I've never grown a plant so complete as the original stock C99 single female I had in the early '00s. The only criticism of that plant was the high was so racy it felt like speed so I liked to cut it a bit with an indica mix. Other than that it was damn near holy grail. I got sick of that racy high and culled the plant because I was sure something better would always be available.
I had no idea what I had on my hands because my experience was so limited.
All that said, I'm excited over my recent bean haul... having a very hard time trying to decide what stains to run first.
