I remember back in the 70s a rumor was going around the high school about a world war was starting. My sister was one of those Make Love not War types. Most of the kids at the high school were hold overs from the hippy days. It got sob out of control they had to send the kids home and shut the high school down. I saw my sister sobbing like a baby that evening. I don't know if she got high or what. I was too young to even know about pot.

I saw a meme a while back it was split top and bottom, on the top it was a picture of D-Day on the bottom it was picture of a boy with pink slicked back hair, and it said in 1944 18 year olds were dodging bullets or something to that affect and 2014 the boys are looki6like my little pony, but I didn't realize it actuall6stooped to that level in the 70's and then the kids became tougher again cuz I have never heard of a kid these days getting so sick and fearful over the end of the world.

No I don't think things were better then obviously the world is improving every day, two thousand years ago they were tossing men to lions and nailing men to sticks, I read about a teacher in Kenya that donates 80% if his salary to the school and now they have internet, there's all kinds if good in today's society. Just saying that we are living in easier times and we are becoming soft bc of it.
