Is it greedy to be testing? 9 day dry now going into jars for cure, will the cure dry them prop? Thanks.
Without sounding stupid, how do i tell what the humidity is inside sealed jars?I'm not sure what you're asking, but if they feel dry after 9 days, jar them up and see what the humidity is. If it goes above 65 take them back out for a little while, and repeat until they stay between 60 and 65.
With a hygrometer. I use Caliber III/IV units, like this:Without sounding stupid, how do i tell what the humidity is inside sealed jars?
Any experience with the cheaper 4 packs on Amazon? Or is it worth spending the money on a few of caliber IVsWith a hygrometer. I use Caliber III/IV units, like this:
I've only ever used the Caliber units, and have used them for several years. I've got seven of them. I've never had one fail, and the first one I purchased six or seven years ago is still in use. I've replaced the battery only once, and it is as accurate as any other temp/humidity measurement sensors I own.Any experience with the cheaper 4 packs on Amazon?
