Are you using Canna now? If so, shoot me any Q’s you’ve got. I’ve been using it for decades.
me to just normally dont go much over 1800-2000ppm, plus ive tried the canazyme n boost, but usually leave them out because of the cost n just roll with the A n B nutes plus 40mls of monsta bud

i just read the ppm parts of salts per million, disovled in the water, isnt that almost the same as reading the ec

On a ppm 700, 1800-200ppm is like 2.8-2.9EC....that’s off chops!

No, it’s not the same. I’ll find something to link for you rather than getting RSI in my finger.
i didnt say the same, said almost the same,

im at 1260 ppm right now, at week 2 of flower

then in two weeks i'll go to 1400ppm

PPM can get confusing for some. Either a 500 or 700 ppm can get used and then you’ve either got to make an assumption or ask.
EC is the easiest to use in gardening.

how can it be confussing if we talking about disolved salts in water,, ppm

1260ppm = ec 1.8

1400ppm = ec 2.0

just under 1800ppm = ec 2.5

i been doing it that way for decades

There’s different scales for PPM.

There are many different scales used for different industries around the world and for many different reasons! Did you even know there are more than two scales? The most widely used scales in Hydroponics are the 500 scale, 650 scale and the 700 scale.

What's the difference? The ppm 700 scale is based on measuring the KCl or potassium chloride content of a solution. The PPM 500 is based on measuring the NaCl or sodium chloride content of a solution and is also referred to as TDS - total dissolved solids. Individual nutrient ions have different electrical effects!”

Just use EC, not confusing.......kapish :lol:
