That's the price, but what is the shipping cost? This is an actual question, never ordered from Ali.A 260w china kit is just a little over $100 now.

I paid $200 for shipping and $16 for duty fees on 16 boards with heatsinks, driver, dimmers, and power cords. It was in 2x 3x3x3 boxes and was at my door in 5 days. That's the price, but what is the shipping cost? This is an actual question, never ordered from Ali.
Got mine to Canada no shipping or duty charges. 120w kit. That's the price, but what is the shipping cost? This is an actual question, never ordered from Ali.
That would be a good base start for me cause I know I'll probably wanna upgrade a few thingsThat 10x15 would probably cost you around $2500 on the lower end to give good light.
I saw this pic in another post China made QB maybe it was I was gonna message you on this but had to go outI spent around $1400 on his setup I use over a 6x10 area.
The prices I paid for meijiu board from alibaba at the time were slightly less than HLGv1 boards cost right now. (around $24 per board IIRC)
You want at least 30w per square foot. I would not attempt to light the whole 10x15 unless you can afford to put a minimum of 4500w over it.
At 140w each for the V1 boards, youd need at least 32 of them at $30 a piece. Plus heatsinks drivers frames ect.Another example would be the HLG kits. You need 17 260w kits at $350 each. A 260w china kit is just a little over $100 now.

Feel free to shoot me a msg whenever. I dont consider myself an LED expert by any means, especially compared to some of the other knowledgeable people around here, but I know enough that I was comfortable dropping that kind of money on DIY boards. I almost doubled it, I had quotes done and was ready to place another meijiu order, but decided I didnt need that big of a setup for personal use and cut down to 6 sites instead.I saw this pic in another post China made QB maybe it was I was gonna message you on this but had to go out

I did forget to mention that my $1400 total was all in with everything all said and done with the lights hung in the tent.I paid $200 for shipping and $16 for duty fees on 16 boards with heatsinks, driver, dimmers, and power cords. It was in 2x 3x3x3 boxes and was at my door in 5 days.
You save more money the more you buy. An order like mine or the OPs would be would have massive savings still, but if youre only wanting to order 1-2 kits, the shipping will still be around $100
I have to second this. There seems to be a new discrepancy with what the diodes are actually on the HLG v1 boards that are going out right now, so im not sure I can even recommend those as a good budget option now
Do you have pics of the dogs? or links?I have been breeding Pit bulls for 30 plus years

here's one room with 3 units. there are another 3 units like these and 3 more which are COBs. lights are 15 x samsung qb22a strips mounted on 25x25 aluminium extrusion wired in parallell driven by a meanwell hlg600h-48a. I only drive them at 12.3 amps which makes 568 watts. they stay cool to the touch with the circulation fans blowing across them. Room never goes over 24C even in summer.sound like you have quite a setup, would enjoy seeing any pics of it you have if you dont mind sharing.
I dont think this is a bad idea, so that you get a feel for it first. Thats what I did. Although HLG has a page with links to everything in the DIY kits on Amazon and you can save a few bucks. You are going to want to watch a youtube video or two either way when you setup the first one. After that you will be good to go and can do the next one in 20 mins. Plus dont be shy about asking questions. The more info gets documented on here the better off the next person is. If its any consolation I ask dumb questions about QBs every day and they havent chased me away yet lol! After talking to wife she agreed one on one maybe hard to get and that a QB kit modified would be better to start with ..she brought up the point hands on for doing one from scratch buying everything piece by piece would be very detailed and alotta work putting together...she reminded me even though I'm self employed and can make time for a one on one do I want all that work after rebuilding mobilehomes all day lol like she said that's a job straight to another job at night so I'm gonna just do a kit for now .thanks for bringing up that point
lol that's just a few , I really love my pits and birdsI came back for dog pics and was not disappointed!
Good lookin pups.
