Ok gang, thanks for the suggestions. I've raised the temps to 80-83, and co2 to 1000 ppm. If nothing bad happens I'll take another jump.

Here are some plant pics. These are about 10 days in the dirt from seedlings. All they've gotten so far is earth worm casting tea and water. I'm going to start topping and shaping. I need them to stay low and bushy.

I usually grow up to 6 plants, or however many females I find after veg in a different tent.

I've gotten surprisingly good results, so I really shouldn't mess with it. But I'm an idiot, so why not?

So here's what I changed to:
  • Added a Co2 controller and set it to ~800 ppm to start
  • Added a humidity sensor and connected it to the vent fan - it only comes on when I need to bring down the humidty (currently set to 55-60%). I have another fan that will come on if the tent gets too hot; I haven't seen it come on yet, but the lights collectively are only at about 250 watts.
  • Added both 650 and 730 nm deep and far red LED's on separate channels. The deeps come on 30 minutes before lights on and go off 30 minutes before lights out. The 730's come on 5 minutes before lights out and go off 15 minutes after. Only about 15 watts of each, so more mood lighting than anything photoactive. I was originally thinking that I'd wait for flower, but saw a lot of panels have these on all the time so that's that.
  • Instead of vegging until sex is evident, I used a testing service to find what I had, which turned out to be 4 females and one male. I put the girls in the sip containers and will keep the guy around until he shows his sex (just to confirm the test was correct), then I may keep it and make some f1's or just dust myself up and go on a greenhouse tour. ;) j/k. This means I have very small plants in a very large pot from the gitgo. Luckily sips never get super wet, and I can let them dry out between waterings.
My controller board looks like an airplane cockpit now. ;)

So far the plants (Bhodi Elfenstone - sativa dominant so I need to force them low and wide)) are doing well. I'll up the co2 and light intensity as veg progresses. Normal ipm.

I forgot to take pics before I closed up the tent, but I'll add some as it goes.

Now the slow motion train wreck can start. Bets on what happens first?

You can have a room fucking hot(90-95)without problems when supplementing co2 around 1500ppm. Our old burner used to heat up the room like a mf it was a pita but plants didn’t really give a shit

It's true, they don't give a shit. But like I said, from my experience 85f seemed to be best.

75 - 80 is the max I aim for unless I'm adding CO2 then 85 would be the max. I'm having a hard time getting over 73 now with only one 600W going but it's chopping time so it doesn't much matter.

Ok, quick update. I have the temps up into the low -mid 80's (leaf temp 78-79), I'm holding ppm to 1000 for now. I've started super cropping and shaping so the pics look a little wonky. Humidity is staying in the mid-upper 60's, which is fine from a vpd standpoint.

Also spotted a thrip and a little damage; yeah, I had gotten lazy with ipm. As bugs bunny would say - You realize of course, this means war..... ;)

Other than the thrips, which love warm moist environments, they seem to be taking the changes well.

They are really liking the new environment. I have one more round of training to go through, then it's off to flower at least a full week early for me; especially considering they were smaller than usual when I put them into the big tent. Since this is a sativa dominant strain, I don't want them stretching into the lights if avoidable.

The scrog will be fully filled out with multiple heads per square; I'll take care of those tall stems before lights out. No more bugs visible, but I'll keep ipm going for a few more days.

They are also drinking much more. My sip res should be lasting 5-6 days, but they were dry after 3.

All things considered, I'm happy so far.

They're looking real good. I wouldn't be waiting too much longer to flip and that net would come in handy later about 2ft higher than it is now.

Lol... It's a new world (not convinced on the brave part yet).

It's a dna test where they look for a "Y" chromosome. All you do is send them a piece of leaf or the smashings of a piece of leaf. They send you the results in a few days. You can test them as soon as the first true leaves appear.

Usually I have to wait 4-6 weeks for pre-sex signs, then I put the females into the sip containers and veg from that point. That is usually done in parallel to having plants in flower so I'm waiting on the flower tent anyway. But since I had a gap this time, it saved me a bunch of time. As a result, the plants going into the flower tent containers were much smaller. I could have put them into a 1 gallon pot first, but just went straight into the big container.

Yeah, I may have to double net them. I can deal with that if it's my biggest problem. ;)

I ended up flipping them last night. This is a solid 70 day strain. So I have to settle in and chill now.

The rate of growth/stretch on these plants is scaring me. At this rate, they will be in the attic by week 4, and my grow is in the basement. Although the nodes are still tight. I'm on day 4 of flower and they have grown 8-10 inches already.

I upped the co2 to 1200 ppm at flip. I dropped the rh slightly to 67, and will drop it to 65 soon to follow the vpd chart for flower.

My far reds were only on for 15 minutes after lights out, but i read on another thread that too much far red can cause stretching, so I dropped that back to 7 minutes today. All they are doing is putting them to sleep. I'm not trying for an Emerson effect.

I may have to do an aggressive leaf strip at the end of week one to try to slow them up a bit. I will supercrop them sideways if I have to.

Sheesh, first world problems. ;)

Houston, we have a problem.

This is either day 6 or 7 of flower, and these witches have already grown 2+ feet over where they started (they were all at scrog level).

So today I did an extreme leaf strip and super cropped the highest stretchers and laid them sideways below the canopy top. I normally wouldn't leaf strip until 2 weeks in, and then I wouldn't do it so aggressively. But, I'm hoping this will set the stretch back. In 3 weeks this will be out of control.

Awesome. I love it when it goes zany.
Some of my best crops, have come from out of control situations.
I thumb my nose at all the "boogie man" horse puckey that gets spewed about. Hermies, hermies, hermies!!!!
Folding over pencil sized branches, sometimes well into flower, has yet to cause a single negative response in my experience.
Maybe I run lucky.
If that's the case, I'm on one helluva run.
Let em rip!
