For Valentines day, I bought myself some flower seeds for this coming spring/summer/early fall. With spring right around the corner, I'm gearing up for the coming Michigan grow season (Go Blue) and figured I would share what I'm planting. I got my seeds from a physical store front called the Seed Cellar and the guys there were knowledgeable and helpful, highly recommend them. The Strains are Subcool's The Dank Cherry Lemonade (reg), BC Bud Depot's Jack Herer (reg), Kingdom Organic Seed's Chunky Cherry Thai (reg) Congo Bhai Bhai (reg) Malawi Moonshine (reg) and The Tombs (reg) Ethos Genetic's Mandarin Cookies R1 V2 (fem) Super Lemon Haze (reg) and Sunshine Sherbet (fem) and Cali Connection's Boax (fem). I will be starting them in Hexagon seed starter tray with a coco fiber and worm castings mix and moving them to the greenhouse in a few weeks. The grow style will be TLO organics. I am defiantly down for advise and constructive criticism. I'll update with pictures throughout the season. I can't begin to express how freaking excited I am for this year! Gonna be so much FUN!!

I'm not familiar with that strain, who does the genetics? I absolutely love being able to go to a store to buy seeds instead of having to wait a week or two for seeds. fyi I could use some help determining when and how often I should top or tie down.

OMG I cant wait to taste the Super Lemon Haze!

Black sugar rose is by delicious. Nice taste high yield. Get almost 2 pounds when outside. Done at the end of Sept. Growing outside I don't tie down until the plants are a foot and a half high. I just weave and tie branches thru a 2 by 4 inch fence that is rolled around the plant. As it gets bigger I use a 6 foot high 2 by 4 inch fence to do the same thing. Top a few times and prune a little. Makes harvest harder but makes it harder for rippers too

Hello from Mid Mich as well! I have been wondering about Seed Cellar. Have heard mixed reviews so glad to hear you had a good experience. I may check them out. I assume they rated all your strains as good for outdoor in Michigan? I have been doing so much research trying to find good, potent, mold resistant, early finishers. Looks like you have a good lineup. Lets hope for a better grow season than last year.... the rain was relentless! Here is my list so far. Trying some autos to see how I like them. I would love to try some from Mephisto, but that will have to wait unfortunately...everyone is out!

Black Triangle - Bodhi
Putang - Mass Medical
Gorilla Ghani - Bodhi
Runaway Bride - Mass Medical
Kashmin Sunshine Day Dream x Acapulco gold
Green Crack - Humboldt
Skunk #11 - Dutch Passion
Sativa Dream - Kannabia
Dos-Si-Dos 33 - Barney's
Shiskaberry - Barney's
CBD Blue Shark - Barney's
Northern Lights Auto - Seedsman
Rhino Ryder Auto - Fast Buds
LSD Auto - Barney's
Strawberry Cheesecake Auto - Seedsman

Here's to hoping our grows are amazing!!

I had horrible experience with bud rot last year, so this year I'm putting a cover over them to prevent rain from sitting. The Seed Cellar has the hook up for genetics, no doubt. Defiantly talk with the people there, they know their shit and will direct you correctly. I do recommend them. I just found out about this company today, https://smokintomatoes.com/#ourproducts , they make compost mixtures specifically for cannabis. basically bulk super soil. They are in Michigan and After talking with them I was blown away with their intimate knowledge of organic nutrients, so I'm going to give them a try. updates and photos of the girls coming soon!

I was just wondering if you wanted to know about a cheap feed that I've been running for a few years? And last year sucked. Late spring and freezes. Stupid hot dry spell. Then snow. Only succeeded due to improvisation.

Sure, I'll take all the info i can get. Yeah, i didnt get planted till first week of june and then in october we had a terrible rain storm that broke off about half my colas and i found them laying in the mud the next morning. Im puttin a roll out pool cover on my fenced in area this year so i can roll it out over my grow area fence if we get that kind of rain...

I staked and tied everything. My two plants looked like a medieval fortress. Girls did alright. My dahlias got massacred.

It was terrible. Mine got hammered and were mostly tied up. Tried to get the mud out of them but was impossible, all the sticky trichs were covered. I prolly lost half my yield.
