Exactly.Let it go, and stop hijacking the OP's thread. It was a joke. There's no need to be so sensitive.

Keep it going a little longer, then when it pollinates some of your neighbours plants, you guys can have a talking point. So this morning I checked them, could you tell me if I'm tripping but look in the middle of this pic, I swear this ball has popped an I can see white hair?? yes mist with water first but the more you snip em the more they pop up so stay diligentSnip it off? Does the hermie have to pollenate itself before it makes seeds
I’m not going have this convo with someone who proudly smokes seeded weed and sees no problems & bro i grow that’s 80% of my research right there and the same experienced (YouTube) growers your dissing Will tell you the same thing.I don't need to do any research. I smoke seeded weed all the time it gets you high. In fact I've done seed runs and ran the same strains. I pollinated one plant and let another flower without being pollinated. They both got you high just the same except one had seeds. Perhaps you're the one that needs to do some research and I don't mean some dude on youtube, or some article in High Time magazine, or some buddy that says so.
The ridiculous bro science in the cannabis growing community is hilarious.
Whoa whoa whoa pump your brakes. I do apologize Lola, I was in military for 20 years, and referring to females and males as dude, or bro was more or less a compliment or acceptance of a females in the get it, and hi don't have a fascination for tranny's. LMAO again I didn't mean to offend you. I'll remember for next time. Cheers! -G.I.JOSEI’m well aware that the majority of you are older and it hasn’t dawned on you that us younger people have no idea who these people are. Secondly because you guys are so old, I can’t understand the level of immaturity or the obsession with trannys. I don’t care how popular it was, pulling this up as a joke or not has some weirdness to it. I’ll say this , if my boyfriend did this I’d question his sexuality, also his OBSESSION with little trannys from Bangkok. Have a good one
You can pull the male flowers if you need the smoke but get rid of the strain. Pain in the ass! No pollen no seeds.Has anyone just pulled the sacs as they find them? Does the hermie have to pollenate its self first, before it makes seeds?
That was totally ok, I just like the guys knowing we’re around too. I wasn’t referring to you at all when I made that comment. Also my apologies if I somehow jacked your thread I was just trying to change the subject back to hermies. Happy growing and I hope no more come balls come back on your plant.Whoa whoa whoa pump your brakes. Possibly correlation i.e. random chance.Ok. We’re good let’s get back to the subject.
Getting back this is what I noticed about my plants what do you guys think?
5 blueberry sundaes
3 topped ( herms)
2 left alone ( no balls)
Could there be a connection?!
I agree with @xtsho on this. I’ve had the same clone, some unseeded and some from a seed-table run. The seeded bud smoked like the cosmetically nicer seedless bud.I’m not going have this convo with someone who proudly smokes seeded weed and sees no problems & bro i grow that’s 80% of my research right there and the same experienced (YouTube) growers your dissing Will tell you the same thing.
I cook with weed so I cringe when I see all those sugar leaves trimmed. That's what all the commercial growers make their oil from.I agree about the pollen danger from a hermie and it's not worth it to me, but lots of people don't mind a few seeds.
Some of my trim is super frosty, so I dry it slow, and vape it either myself or give it away. It's not much different than my buds as far as smell, flavor, and smoothness. It does seem to be a bit more sedative though. Probably because more of the trichs on the sugar leaves have degraded. I'm talking about the really frosty sugars surrounding the nugs, not any fan leaves. No need to waste good weed.
Good. It's a waste of time because you're wrong.I’m not going have this convo with someone who proudly smokes seeded weed and sees no problems & bro i grow that’s 80% of my research right there and the same experienced (YouTube) growers your dissing Will tell you the same thing.
I smoke leaves? Thanks for informing me.QUOTE="Greenroadtrucker, post: 15347520, member: 1037498"]

Defo a hermie... stop tripping. Throw the plant away asap.
1 pollen gets everywhere and will pollinate other plants... carried on clothes. Not worth it.
2 hermie seeds are more likely to hermie... not worth the hassle.
This xtsho guy says he smokes leaves ffs... whilst I dont want to personal attack anyone... ask yourself... do you want good bud or do you want to smoke leaves?
If you wanna get good bud then chop it and focus on the other plant... dont waste your time... you only live once. Make it perfect!

Sorry... it was the OP that said he smoked leaves... apologies!I smoke leaves? Thanks for informing me.
Will you look at all these rumors surroundin' me every day
I just need some time, some time to get away from
From all these rumors, I can't take it no more
My best friend said there's one out now about me and the girl next door
Hey so I've found some conspicuous looking balls on both my plants I'd love a second or third opinion, what's your thoughts?
It's not just as easy as blaming the breeder. Although there does appear to be some validity towards increased asexual reproduction due to poor breeding methods there are other factors that need to be considered. If I got a strain that had hermie trait, I would discredit all the genetics from that breeder and throw them out. Anyone letting stuff go like that are either not looking out for their people or don't have the best genetics themselves, peace
Well according to the OP both plants are showing balls so they might as well finish the plants out. They might get some seeds but at least they'll get some weed. I never said the situation was ideal but it is what it is. They can chop both plants and lose the time they spent growing them or they can finish them out and harvest some smoke. I never said plucking balls as they see them will prevent seeds. I'm inferring that a few seeds in the weed is better than no weed at all and it would be foolish to not finish the plants out.Sorry... it was the OP that said he smoked leaves... apologies!
You did say chop the balls off.... that is a fool's errand IMO. Each to their own I guess
The OP has six weeks at least invested into growing these two plants. How is scrapping the grow the right thing to do? You'd waste that time to grow because you might get a few seeds? A few seeds are not going to ruin your crop. If the grower had numerous plants and found one hermie amongst them then culling that specific plant would be warranted. But with only two plants and both showing herm just grow them out. A few zips per plant is better than no zips. And who's to say that a few balls will have any effect on yield?Get rid of both of them and start again. I scrapped a whole crop on week 4... was painful... bit the right thing to do
