Ok so I’m receiving my first hlg light soon. And stupid ole me didn’t see the options of 3k or 4K spectrum until after I ordered. My question is..what are the differences in spectrum. This light was bought for my 2x2 area

Which did you get. I think it's default is 3000K?

4,000 usually used for flower. But can be used for veg. Doesn’t really matter. Difference isn’t that huge. Just most people use 3,000 spectrum for the veg.

? usually this is reversed. 4k is for veg only, although you could use it to flower but not preferred, the extra blue can cause more leaf growth. 3k is for flower but will work fine for veg tho may be a little stretchy.

Had a feeling I had it reversed haha. Thanks brother. Personally I like 6500 for the veg.
