Bump the umol/j and increase the amount of cyan when blended with 2700/3000K. You end up with a very efficient, reasonably smooth spectrum with plenty of blue to offset any possible stretch (shade avoidance) caused by having so much red. That would be my guess. It also looks like a blend of CRI70 and 80, but I could be wrong. There's no arguing it's an efficient spectrum. Can anyybody explain why they would use so many 5k leds, apart from to make the numbers look better?
You know hes banned here right?I'm still kicking rocks waiting on blux strips
Teknik promised a gonio run on them too, should be good
He posts on other boards. You know hes banned here right?
Me too.I expected more from ChilLed
Only here, many of us are on another forum where he posts frequently. Hes also a mod at ledgardenerYou know hes banned here right?
When is your build with these strips to happen? Looking forward to it.Only here, many of us are on another forum where he posts frequently. Hes also a mod at ledgardener
I know he got off on the wrong foot here, but the dude is insanely smart and has his finger on the pulse of the LED world imo. Hes also just a good dude, nothing but helpful.
My new strips are customized using his special blues added to the 2700k jseries from Cutter. I wanted the Prawn spectrum but in strips rather than boards, TEKNIK went out his way to do all the heavy lifting and set everything up for me. Hopefully the new strips are a winner, like Prawns boards.
Ill be building them Soon, im just waiting on some new extrusions for framing from Tnutz, other than that i have everything else here already. When is your build with these strips to happen? Looking forward to it.
I couldn't agree more. Never once said it or even remotely meant to say otherwise. I agree, the guys damn near genius status and has nothing but helpful information to add. Yet, it comes with a Lil attitude, that I wish so bad the Mods HERE would give just one more shot to.Only here, many of us are on another forum where he posts frequently. Plenty of great convos taking place here I don't think he'd mind being back a part of.Ya hes a straight shooter for sure, he dont sugarcoat much lol.
i dont think it matters anymore, that ship has sailed as far as i know. I dont think he would come back now anyway to be honest. Who knows tho
if im not mistaken, i think Cutter is selling t slot sinks? also pretty sure i seen Greengene using something similar in his vids.I got a big, fat ol' hunch that the next advancement in the DIY world's works, is T-Slot extrusions. Its become very apparent the supply has become much, much more abundant and these different sized profiles, are all readily available now and just proving to be the next highly marketed thing.
Pre built frames that can be dis/assembled to easily accommodate any space from a 1X1-6x6. They'd sell.... If only I had some fucking capitol.....
Oh no doubt, but theres also all the same people here that were tilting him to no end, they havent changed lol....it would only be a matter of time before he called them on their shit and all hell would break loose again lolPlenty of great convos taking place here I don't think he'd mind being back a part of.
Thanks Air, you might like this, delivered to a customer. New 224LPW Nichia HT, with G Bin XPG-3 G Bin Deep Red and and Mixed UVA all mounted to TSLOTTBH, Cutters design for the "550" style fixtures is world's more appealing to me than any other. Cutter knew what was up when they used T Slot and individual heatsinks that are lower than the entire frame, can be adjusted, and are easily removed. I love the Form Factor on their model by far the most.
