Any company that doesn't conduct proper testing should not be given the time of day. There is no excuse you could possibly come up with for a manufacturer to refuse proper testing. A PAR meter is not a good way to test a product at all, If people accept testing using a cheap PAR meter instead of actual testing that has been done in a real sphere not a Chinese lying sphere then they have rocks in their heads.

Honestly don't care if you buy it or not. Facts are facts bud. One thing you will learn around here is I don't fabricate things and on the occasion I accidentally misinform I admit to it.

Amare is a trusted name wheather you think they are popular or not. Never been proven to lie, 100% customer satisfaction that I'm aware of & proved that they did then what others do now. And still ahead in build quality, efficiency & spectrum.
So, short on advertising, social media, web-site, third party testing (all things i think are a shame too) that does not stop them from being the quality they are.
Say what you will, the results will continue to come in & SBS will be done.
Maybe someday Victor will get on the mktng train. Sometimes people's health & personal issues can denture that. You know, real life shit beyond the internet.

Only a day in so still adjusting. Had no time to grow in, just straight to flower.

The HLG 60's supplemental lights bars are built well with easy connects. Uva bars have additional outlets added.
Only thing I'm bummed about is i need the IR drivers for these QB-3's (730nm strips) as that is a huge part of this & trying some after lights out & i need it. They did not come with my order & am hoping HLG can get then to me ASAP so i can do a true assessment on their use.
I know your backed up Stephen but if you get the chance i would greatly appreciated it!! Thnx bud!
Next is full room sunset sunrise, dimmers, main controller hopefully. Some work there, not to hip on tech.

Does the 550 really look like anything before it? The mega is 37"x37" the 550 is 20"x26".

Smart Grow Systems and HLG appear to have gone in different directions, applications wise. Your product line appears to be geared for consumers used to growing following the more traditional "hang-em high" methodology that is the legacy of HID lamps and COBs.
But hey, its served you well. I guess where plant count is a concern, your chosen application ticks the boxes. Just think its a pity. Customers could have true efficiency with smd leds closer to the canopy.

As for the buyers encouraging copycat product by purchasing them. Disgusting.

A good example of having pcb's done in China is ohms_law on instagram. His early Red Shift boards ended up hijacked. The copycats didn't even revise the name on the silkscreen layer.
