Yeah mine doubled. To subsidize their waiting room seat. Since when am i responsible for someone elses insurance?
Bernie has a plan to fund that. But im not here to support or bash that.
Id be fine paying into a national healthcare . Im paying 3600 a year for last what 10 years? To keep it at that 300 a month, had to switch carriers twice.
The health care system is broken, rigged and woefully inefficient in fiscal management.
You got older, and admitted to smoking. And I take it if you are 'switching carriers' you are not getting it through your work?

Have you seen the shade more tenured Democrats throw AOC, especially when the Green new deal was proposed? And shes coming up for reelection and it was reported her democrat challenger was getting endorsements from party affiliates and donors that previously supported AOC. Its not about who the Democratic seat holder is, its that its a Democrat to maintain majorities.
Same with Biden or Sanders. Whos more electable. Not more competent. Not more progressive or moderate. But whos electable according to polls data etc.
You mean the bill that the Republican Senate trolled her by putting it up for a vote before it was even ready? I think AOC should be able to pull off the win, she is popular enough. But I don't feel bad for her getting ran against after she decided she wanted to go after other Democrats seats by trying to fund primaries against them.

I am torn, I like her, but am willing to wait about 15-20 years of so to see her record when she is up against a tough vote to see what she does before I would be ready to really give her any real benefit of a doubt. It is easy to see she is pushing a populist messaging, I am just afraid of her getting caught up in the online disinformation that is being run.

And it is also easy to see that it is the 'Right' that is pushing her popularity and importance. She is a great new voice, but really at the end of the day is just one freshman congress person. Anyway that Trump and his online army of trolls can do to push her and the other educated women of color they will, because they know they can freak out racist males with them.

As far as plots, for people and government officials to deny climate change and warming is a conspiracy or just truly retarded humans. If corporations were making plans in the 60s and 70s and following thru in the 80s and 90s for climate change youd think government would take contingencies too since they supported the majority of the research used thru government funding.
The seeds that they had ready when i was there, were projected to be needed this and next decade.
Did you know Carter actually tried to address climate change? So did Bill, and Obama. Unfortunately all three of them had to overcome a Republican induced recession and after their first 2 years in office they got trolled so hard the Republicans won back the House and Senate.

Nothing that the new crop of Democrats are thinking the previous generations have done nothing to fix is going to change until the Democrats can win the House, Senate, (60+ seats) and Presidency for longer than 2 years at a time. And now that they finally are getting to the point that Democrats are a majority in every age group, the Republicans and Right wing trolls are trying to split the Democratic party with these false narratives of what the 'Left' is all about.

You can thank Republicans for causing rates to rise as fast as they have.

Bernie didn't have a plan. He submitted a symbolic bill that contained no funding. But you already knew that. It had no chance of passing anyway. Biden's bill for shoring up and improving the ACA will still be difficult to get through the Republican controlled Senate.

Vote Republicans out.

In the last 21 years we have seen the presidential popular vote not matter at all, what 3 times. Politics is easily rigged-gerrymandering mean anything to you or redistricting voter boundaries?

You are very passionate about your Democrats but too blinded by shiny press photos to see its not real change. Just more photogenic and less able to be bashed. Pandering to their own base. Kinda closr close minded.

But Republicans do the same thing.

Im grateful you are intelligent beyond the 6th grade comprehension of most Americans. Thanks.
I am enjoying my coffee and spliffs having this discussion with you.

That's right, young man. And all of us are happy to hear from the naive and uneducated.

Tulsi for VP? That seems counter-intuitive to everything we've heard about her on this forum for months.

My guess, it would be wise to get Warren as vp to draw progressive votes. Biden is a one term president, she can run again in 2024 with a solidified party behind her. I still really want to see a woman democrat in the Whitehouse.

That would create a vacancy in her Senate seat which would be filled by an appointment from a Republican governor.
