I am still required to work and as I am the bread winner no choice really. Luckily I work outside, mostly by myself so can social distance pretty easy. I agree with you though, the fed govt seem paralysed with either shock or fear or both and are making piece meal announcements every few days about money for this or money for that. There are over 1000 cases now and with the exponential growth that is going to be 10 000 pretty quick.
Let's not even talk about the NSW govt allowing infected cruise ships to dock and disembark into Sydney.
So my plan is to wait and see I guess but I am getting a bit anxious. We found a beautiful little farm, we have been looking for ages but now we are not gonna make an offer.

Gong to snowball from here is my thoughts.
Im waking up to the first job cancellations this morning. They are having cancellations and putting off casual staff. I expect more cancellations during the week.
Im thinking of working till Wednesday and then bunkering down at home. Have to get the agreement on that with the other house members. Starting to get to unsafe to be out and about and the feds are saying stay home if u can.
Anyone have any info about govt payments to sole traders? There was talk of giving us the dole plus an extra $100, which would be great. But not sure if it came about or is going to happen.

Talkin with one of me neighbours yesterday an he was tellin me how much he could smell the plants, i said ya not wrong mate on certain days i can smell them from out frnt footpath. Luckly this blokes alright an he lives right next door an his mum lives behind my other nextdoor neighbour so thats 2 outta 5 immediate neighbours i dont gotta worry about but now im tryna come up with a way of coverin the stank however unlikey that may be. Im remwmber that bloke on here with the plant that ended up being male said he once used one of those bamboo scent burners to cover his plants smell.
Do you blokes reckon a few of those burning during the day could help cover the smell i know it wont 100% fix the problem, any thoughts on it?
Edit: Im sure they would be able to be smelt half way down the block if not further

Construction in the city mostly, I’ll basically work until the shut the schools. Then I’m at home full lock down. My farther in-law is moving in so he can have time off his rent ends in 2 weeks.

probably not. It’s to get small business to keep their staff on even if they aren’t getting the regular trade they’d normally see. They haven’t really announced much of the details but to be eligible I can see you having to prove the money is going to help keep staff employed.
