You should drop you ppms to under 500 for a couple weeks, then down to 250 and eventually 0 ppm last 3-5 days.

That can be true, it really depends on when you plants start throwing flowers. Most strains in soil can take up to two weeks.

Some strains in hydro throw flowers after 3-4 days.

yap, very very new lol, 1st time growing and i decided to build my own RDWC system and using lucas formula. I know im freaking out a little too much since it is my 1st time but at the same time i want to learn as much as possible , so here i am picking up on any clues u guys might give :) thank you everyone for helping.

wow awesome info. i keep records and photos. I just checked and i flipped the lights on the 7th of Feb and flowers show up in my photos on the 19th of Feb , aka 12 days later. So i guess it would be smart to count the weeks starting from the 19th of last month right? if so then i guess im finishing up week 5 of flower and got 3 or 4 more to go :)

Yeah i would guess 4 more to go. Maybe 5 depending on how ripe you want them. They should fatten up a lot over the next couple weeks.

this would be a good time to order a jewelers loupe or a USB microscope. you'll need to check the trichomes to make sure you harvest at the correct time.

Ok here are the stats after 24hrs of no water being added.
3-24-2020 ppm 730 ph 5.8 @12pm plain RO water top off closed
3-25-2020 ppm 780 ph 5.7 @12pm
was missing 5 gallons of water, after adding back the 5 gallons
ppm is now 670 and ph is still 5.7

Looks like ppm increased and ph dropped a little.
What does this mean now? Im trying to figure out what ppm level my plants want. so should i not give them more then 780ppm when doing a water change or adding back nutrients ?
does anyone know what this means for me :)

I was told this is San Fernando OG strain " got 8 clones from a friend "
On 3.12.2020 i did some good amount of trimming to expose more of the mid buds to light and after that they started not to eat as much as they where eating before.
** currently they are consuming about 50 to 80ppm ( on a 500 scale) per day and my ph was dropping daily by about .1 , last 2 days ph stabilized and actually went up by .1 today to 6.0
