Help! buds not fattening?

Doesn't that 2-3 g /gal of epsom raise the EC a lot? I use such a small amount i don't even measure it, like 1/2 tsp to 4 gal and my ec goes up about .4

i'll have to double check but i think 1 gram is about 125ppm total. so 2 g didn't raise it much, close to your 0.4 . i drop my normal nutes pretty low at the end which balanced it out.

Does epson in the last week or so help that much? I only add it occasionally but I had heard the sulfur really improves the smell but never really used it much. Thanks for the info.

i really think the Su increases the smells. no scientific proof, just what my nose tells me.

Should b dropping mag n subbing it for pk... calcium intake n pk is what boost the swelling. Since it’s a og strain u can still push pk till the very end

thank u very very much. back of the bag says 1.25grams per gallon so if i give .5grams per gallon i should be safe right ? or should i give .25 per gallon?

My buds already are fat. Still growing some I'm sure just getting ripe. I just thought I'd try something new for terps. Somebody mentioned it and I'd known about the sulfer in epson salts adding to terp development so I thought I'd try a late dose. First time doing it for me. I have plenty of calcium in my mix and i use amino acids too so I'm good there.

Pk helps with ripping, swelling n density, mag is suppose to b tapered when u increase pk week 6-8 for 10 week strains... too much mag dulls the terps in the end

don't need any additives especially PK boosters with Lucas formula. definitely don't need more than 100 ppms of P which are already in Lucas.

that much P anywhere in bloom is a recipe for disastre IMO. will lockout Ca and Mg.

if you try it, watch your leaves carefully! Lucas doesn't need PK at all but try it if you'd like.

not to argue with you but is this info comeing from any reliable sources? i'd love to read it.

No reliable source just trial and error from running multiple ops... all formula are mean to b tweak never a right formula for every grow, since we all grow different strains in different environments, but I can tell u I run a lot of og strains that are 10-11 weeks n they love the pk all thru 6-9 weeks.

On that note how’s ur environment currently at. If ur not keeping temps in high 70’s n rh mid 50’s at ur current week might b a lost cause. Also I see ur not running co2, So u already have that working against u. Gl with the finish, grow looks great for a first grow tho so don’t get so worked over that they not getting bigger plus u have 2 weeks left

current stats
Humidity is at 55 to 65%
Temp is 84 degrees on top and 72 on the bottom ( i have 2 smart sensors lol one i keep towards the top of the canopy and one is sitting on the bottom of the tent.
** I do smart home deployment for businesses and homes so pretty much everything in my grow is smart lol.
