Hello! I my package just came in and I thought I had ordered 2 scrog nets but it appears to only be 1. Will I be fine with using just 1? if so how high should I put the net? right now my plants are about 12"

How high would you have put them if you had of received two?

In other words, have you done any research?

Tell us about your grow that you've got so far. The most important steps to becoming a cannabis grower is research. https://growweedeasy.com is a pretty decent place to start.

Let us know what you've got currently for your grow, and we'll be able to advise more appropriately.

yes ive done research. but with research there are 100 different opinions.. some people say to put one net about 10" and the next about 20" ~
As i stated above about my grow, i have 2 plants about 12"~

I am not asking how high i would need to put them if i received to. im just asking peoples feedback regarding using 2 vs 1 and if they feel it is a NECESSITY to have 2, rather than 1.

I will upload some photos a little later once my light goes on for the night. I am currently running one 300w vipaspectra, my plants are about 5 weeks old. i have this light on the way and i will put them both up when it arrives and ride them side by side for when i am going into flower. VIVOSUN 315W Ceramic Metal Halide CMH/CDM Grow Light Kit, ETL Listed, High-Reflectivity Vega Aluminum Hood, 120/240V Ballast, Full-Spectrum CMH Hydroponic Grow Light and Suspension System I just received megacrop today and will begin feeding my plants tonight. I currently have my plants in 1 gallon pots with a mix of 3 parts happy frog/2 parts ocean forest/1 part perlite. I have 5 gallon pots arriving the same day as my light and will transport them into the pots with 3/3/1 mixture and then a few days later will be switching them over to flower.

Lots of scrog threads in here. Use the search function for scrog netting, plenty of pics around to give you some ideas. Check out staircase/or starecase, she has some great grow pics and if you contact her she will give you great advice... also, pick xtsho's brain... a great grower with lots of info and pics.

Make sure you are really trying to scrog. 2 nets indicates you may be just expecting to support your plants with netting as they grow taller. A scrog makes a 2 dimensional plane of green -- think width and length, but no height. Veg the plant horizontally until the plane is about 75% filled, then flip lighting to 12/12 for flower. Continue to let the plants fill in the net horizontally, then allow them to grow vertical colas.

Your scrog net looks to be at least 4" squares which bigger than I would use. Look for like 2" square netting (cheap volley ball net, badmitten net, trellis netting, etc.). Don't use wire mesh from Home Depot. I put the netting as low as possible so the plant is forced to grow horizontally. If you plant is 12" high, I would try to put the net at 6" or less above the pot. 4" above the pot is better as long as you don't break your plant smashing it down. These are the only pics I can find of my scrog growing. The "net" I use is just string stretched in a grid with 2.5" squares. These pics are 1 week apart.

Sorry, I can't find any pics of the flowered plants.

As already mentioned, do some research, check out growweedeasy.com , etc. Lots of information out there for you.

Awesome, thank you! I moved it down to about 6~ above the pot and was able to move the branches pretty easily since i had been lst training them before i put the net in. i see about the size of the sqaures i do wish they were smaller like you were saying, if i order a second one ill make sure to buy one like that. appreciate the info!
