What's up guys Im looking for anyone that could give some info about what size LEDs I'll need for a 6.5x 6.5x 9 grow room. I'm looking to switch over from an HPS /MH. I've looked into Mars hydro TS 3000 quantum boards Let me know what you think. bongsmilie

tbh I would do 6 of these https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/kits/products/320w-xl-qb-v2-led-kit but u could get away with doing 4 of the fixture instead of the 6 their is a code on their website that is 10% off of your purchase but that's what I would do if u just wanna get most the room started. but u can go the cheaper route and go the Chinese knockoffs but u have no guarantee of quality or diode grade. but if u go the diy route which is more advanced it will be cheaper but u need to learn a lot.

The code for hlg is riu10 @FireBudzz420

Thanks for the info. I'm new to LEDs tbh I've always went the HPS route lol. I'll look into that. I'm done with the HPS lights they're a thing of the past I currently have a 600w HPS /MH

Just an FYI-you have over 42 sq ft of floor space you're trying to adequately light. Using top-shelf diodes, you would need over 1300 watts to get good light levels over that entire space. Even using Chinese knock-off QB's it'll be hard to do that for $1/watt. It'd be hard for me to DIY a fixture with equal efficiency for $1/watt. If you're serious about using the entire space, be prepared for some investment.

I just wish the pre made, plug and play stuff didn't cost quite so much. I like building, but I have a lot going on right now and don't have any free time
Yeah. I'm technically advanced when it comes to electric wiring ECT all suggestions are welcome guys. I checked out HLG DIY kits as well

So basically I'll be better off just running 1k HPS for a space like that.

Yeah I have a drill press also
ok so most simple way I have done my lights in use these for the rails https://www.tnutz.com/product/ex-1050/ and I just use heatsink usa for my heatsinks what I do for holes is 1/4 works good because tnutz has 1/4 inch screws I use the 1 inch length version of them but I think u can use 1/2 inch I just like the extra clearance imo. but if u wanna do strips I would highly suggest using bxebs because I still have nothing but praise for them. @Powertech might say cutter but I would say do the bxebs and get them from arrow. many things u can do but I have a bxeb build that im running 16 off of a hlg 240a 24 stays warm to the touch but not hot. if u would like I could show ya a picture of my bxeb build

Great,ts 3000 must be a right choice.:weed::D:leaf:below are some features about them:
1.QB design with the 2020 popular sunlike spectrum with IR leds which are similar with nature light, With this light, you will see an increase in quality by growing big flowers that are dense, high THC.
2.Marvelous replace HPS,save 50%energy compared with HPS,suitable for various grow tent.
3.0DB,Meanwell driver, the wattage can be adjustable by the driver.
4.extended power cord make sure you can move the driver outside the light easily.
5.max yields up to 2.5g/w dried buds,cost-effective,very affordable for indoor growers.

below are some grow pictures sharing by growers, hope it is good for you to make a decisionbongsmilie:leaf::weed:

This is my bxeb fixture I did this one a little bit different but their would be a different way to do this that would be easier my second light is my cutter light I’m not completely happy with but it works I wish I just went the bxeb route for it. But this is the general idea lots of other people that make strip lights I just need to make the wires for clean.
