Best NPK Ratio for Veg and Flower

I find it interesting that some folks misquote me. If you want a guide, because you really haven't learned what makes a plant tick, then - Veg - 9-3-6. Bloom - 1-3-2, or do what I say, not what I do. I grow most of my pot using a high N food from start to finish - 18-4-9 slow release. There is way too much emphasis put on veg versus bloom foods. You should use whatever it takes to produce and retain the most amount of foliage from start to finish.

People are talking about ratios and all this stuff in between. All I want to know is how much NPK should be in a product that I buy. How much N how Much P and how Much K For veg/flower?That's it. It's so hard to get a simple, straight forward answer for someone who obviously doesn't have much experience with indoor growing. There's no need to complicate things with Info that makes feel like I'm back in science class lol

I'm sticking with you! At least you write in a way that doesn't confuse people. It's very simplified so thumbs up on that. I live in Australia and here I wouldn't know where to look for something with the NPK you're suggesting. The closest I found today was
N5
P0.1
K1.1

I've been using what I thought was the good stuff for veg
N12
P1.4
K7
Plus seaweed extract
And I'm pretty sure the girls hate it. Can you please send me some links with nutes that have the NPK you're suggesting so I have some idea of which products to look for? 99% of nute info I've seen is non Australian and I haven't seen any of the brands here that people talk about.
I just found this product with
Water SolubleYes
OrganicNo
Safe For VegetablesYes
Nitrogen Analysis (N)2.4
Phosphorus Analysis (P)0.1
Potassium Analysis (K)2.5
Added Wetting AgentNo

Thoughts?

Your info is pretty mixed up there. 3-1-2 for veg though I've found 1-1-1 works just as well. 1-3-2 for flower is by far the best NPK ratio I've tried thus far.

Too much P locks out Zinc, Iron, and Copper. Not sure where you're getting N from.
is it Possible to use kelp me kelp you of FF in a replacement of BigBloom since their both Plant foods or is that a No?

Homebrewer...I wanted to get your thoughts on Athena Nutrients and what you think about their NPK Ratio. I pretty much read all you posts during this time where I find myself at home more often than usual. I recently bought Athena Nutes and was told I could return them within a timely manner. During this time I decided to give Dyna Gro a shot and asked to return them and of course I was told sorry the owner said no. So I was thinking about doing a side by side. Wanted to see what you would recommend using 7 to 10 gallon smart pots in promix...Drain to waste? Thank you for your time.

You still sticking to this ratios for veg & bloom home brewer from 2011am in hydroponic rockwool for now..

Just out off thougt you tryed 3-1-4

Or just a grow with higher . K formulas see if it beats the 1-3-2 you say has been the better ratios you found in flower ..well up to then ..like mel franks 1-1-2 as well

Just getting bit confused at first was like this ...for me

3-1-5 or 3-1-4 ..full grow start to finish ..
Then read more then thought ..?

3-1-2 for veg.... bloom 1-1-2

Then veg 3-1-4 .... bloom 2.5-1-5.5 like capulator sort off ..

Then listing to you 3-1-2 veg & bloom 1-3-2

Can not wait to get room time space to do my own side by sides with all theses cannabis ratios plus my own

Here that too. .

N..95
P..65
K..170
Ca..95
Mg..75
S..75
Fe..5
Zn..1
Mo..1
Copper..1
Boron. .1

Not sure on this or other Micros ppm as yet what you guys think on this custom npk start to finish ec 1.3 .. let ph swing 5.2 ..6.2 before changing ..tap water is 65 ppm sit water in UK

Thanks guys

I think a 1-3-2 or a 1-3-3 works best in hydro but I also think tweaking that as flower progresses is a good approach. Ultimately you've just got to experiment and find out what keeps those plants healthy.
Still sticking to this ? In hydro ?

IMO there shouldn't be a different base nutrient fro veg or flower. It should be the same and any PK boost you should want in flower should be obtained through using monopotassium phosphate.

3-2-6 works perfect for me in veg and all of flowering.
This hydro ?

Athena works great. Get the pro line and make your own stock solutions.

I am planning to use Jack's 3-2-1 formula on my next run. This formula comes out to a 3-1-4 NPK ratio. After reading so much I am considering adjusting the formula to different ratios. There are so many differing opinions!

Found this in a prior post and seems to make the most sense to me. Not sure where he found the "actual ratios cannabis requires through its life cycle"

It's worth stating for the record the actual ratios of N, P and K that cannabis requires through it's life cycle:

Vegetative Stage
N - P - K
3 - 1 - 2

Flowering Stage
N - P - K
1 - 1 - 2

Final Flowering Stage
N - P - K
0 - 1 - 2

To translate this into a 12 week schedule for a typical Skunk type such as Cheese or Psychosis would give something along these lines:

Veg week 1: 3 - 1 - 2
Veg week 2: 3 - 1 - 2
Flo week 1 : 3 - 1 - 2
Flo week 2 : 3 - 1 - 2
Flo week 3 : 1 - 1 - 2
Flo week 4 : 1 - 1 - 2
Flo week 5 : 1 - 1 - 2
Flo week 6 : 1 - 1 - 2
Flo week 7 : 0 - 1 - 2
Flo week 8 : 0 - 1 - 2
Flo week 9 : 0 - 0 - 0
Flo week 10: 0 - 0 - 0

Then you get the opinion that the ratio doesn't need to change if you are using a complete nutrient formula like Jack's, maxibloom, dyna grow, etc....
So what should I do? Seems the purpose of using a 3 part system is so that you can fine tune your feed right? Or just use the proven ratio that Jack's recomends? I would love to hear from some master growers. I know renfro uses gh, I am always interested in his opinion. Man knows his shit.

I use jacks classic blossom booster 1-3-2 for flower and sometimes give flower fuel too and have fantastic results.
