So i have 2 og chemdawg autos. One looks to be into flowering and the other not so much yet. I checked PH today after a watering last night and the PH dropped to 4.3 what is the best way to raise this before i stunts or hurts the growth. I dont wanna over water at this point but if inhave to add a lil more just to get the PH up i will do so and hope she dont get sick.

Soil , GH Grow/Bloom Nutes
Water PH 6.5 with nutes
Light SF 2000.. 20/4
73/80 temp depends on day.
humidity 38/48 depending

Did you make sure your pH meter hasn’t gone out of calibration and are you testing the actual soil at the root zone?
I have a soil tester. Measures How Moist the soil is and PH level..

the PH meter i use for watering is on point. So not sure if im watering enough or last time i watered a lil more then normal and it dragged down more of the nutes causing this ?

The pH meters in those soil testers don’t work so don’t go off of that. Literally none of them work.

Exactly. Mine was quickly tossed in the trash when I realized how terrible it was.

Honestly I wouldn't worry what it says, your plants look healthy. Looks like a touch of nute burn, not bad at all. What EC/ppm are you feeding at?

Im kinda a noob to this lol but the only feeding i do is 1Tsp per Gal of water of GH Bloom. Every other dry spell her has. And just Reg 6.5 water in the middle.

I agree with everyone on the pH testers. The cheap one I bought off Amazon got returned as soon as I tried it. And there's no way your actual pH is 4.3, they wouldn't be happy.

I'm scrambling through threads trying find someone who knows something about hydrated lime...

Im making a compost tea...it was too acidic..around ph 5.9...so I added some hydrated lime to the solution...and now the pH has gone down further (5.0)...not up..What the hell?

Anyone know whats going on? Suggestions..I've been stirring it, thinking the fine powder may have precipitated..

Why hydrated lime? Use just plain garden lime. Buy a bag anywhere. Organic farmers are not allowed to use hydrated or burned lime. There’s a difference.

I have hydrated lime from another project...Local hydro shop closed due to Corona...

I figured it it would be a decent way to raise pH for my compost tea ...No one seems to have any idea as to "why" the hydrated Lime I have added has lowered pH as opposed to raising it
