Looking for Cherry pie seeds

The Cherry Pie strain seems to really give some relief (after testing many, many strains). I'm doing an outdoor grow in 2013 so I'm looking for some "femimized" Cherry Pie seeds. I have access to CP clones gown indoors but have heard stories that the clones need to be climatized before staying outdoors. I really dont want to have to shuffle plants in and out, plus I dont have the room inside. Do indoor clones always need to be climitized? In live in N. CA between Sac. and SF. Any replies would be appreciated.
 
got cherry pie clones my self. If the clones are healthy, and not 90f that day, they will be fine to put out in a day or two, just watch them really.

I've had clones go from 80w indoors to 90f outdoors and they took off.95% of my clones did this year outdoors.

never heard of cherry pie. how's the flavor on that? the only cherry strains i know are
buddha's sister
reclining buddha
buddha's sister x G13 haze
pure chitral kush
&
super silver haze x PCK

it's a flavor i'm looking to marry with a trippy haze high. i'd be interested in details on pie's flavor and buzz

How in the heck have you not heard of Cherry Pie? It kills every other cherry strain out there. I have it and even in veg it reeks of cherry pie! There are two phenos of Cherry Pie, GDP and F1 Durban. The GDP pheno is a bigger yield and tastes better.
Genetics are F1 Durban X GDP.

He's from another land, that's why. I thought CP was clone only. Are there legit seeds?

Also fwiw, there's an ak47 cherry pheno to add to that list of cherry strains.

Finding CP seeds that are the same as the strain that works for you is unlikely. Stay with the CP clones and don't worry about acclimatization for the clones, that need a day or two to adapt to sunlight and then they will be fine.
 
You dont need to bring them back and forth to acclimate them..if possible just start them in a partially shaded area (bright indirect light, or a spot that only gets a couple hours of direct sun each day), after a few days you can move them to a sunny spot where they will stay,(assuming you would be starting them in smaller pots that you can move). If the days arent too hot yet you probably could even just start them out in the sun.

um... i'm not everywhere 24/7 for one, and two, it's not at attitude where i've done all of my shopping after joey weed vanished from hemp depot. third, i don't think it's covered in cannabible unless i'm having a brain fart which is always a possibility, and finally, i don't go out of my way to learn about indicas, if it even is an indica without googling it further than making sure i didn't skip past it at attitude as i HAVE read every single description there a couple years ago. if it's as awesome as you say it is, i'll look into comparing it to buddha's sister & BS x G13 haze. if there's ANY cherry strain i'd really have liked to have tried, it would have been dr greengenes' cherrybomb sativa, not to be confused with the indica with the same name there's way too many strains out there to keep up with everything, but stopping by this thread is one way to learn about something new. i could easily name a bunch of strains you've never heard of, just by opening my cannabible and rattling of a couple dozen breeder specific ones that aren't on the market, but i don't see a point. most of my energy goes into looking for trippy motivational strains. yep... it's a kush, just as i thought. the description doesn't clearly say cherry though and indicates durban dominance while that strain tastes like licorice which i don't like at all.

This.

Its not about hours of light, per se.

If you bring indoor plants outdoors in summertime, they will not be accustomed to the heavy amount of UV light and they'll literally get sunburn, killing the leaves.

The way to do it is exactly as above. Either bring them out for short periods of time, or put them in a place where they're not getting direct sunlight.

If its a time of year when UV isn't intense (ie late November or early spring), you can probably just put them outside and not worry about it any further.

And yeah. .. even if there were such a thing as Cherry pie ceeds (and there probably aren't), they're not going to be the same as the clone you know/like. If you have access to a clone, use it. If you grow it indoors now, you can top it into a good mother plant, and easily have many clones rooted and ready to plant by springtime.
 
Thanks for all the info. I guess I'll just use the clones. If it only takes a few days to climatize I can handle that.

Again, if you're putting it outside in spring, you probably won't need any "hardening".

Also, as a piece of advice, plants can go from inside to outside. Never take outside plants into your garden, that's a surefire way to introduce mites and all sorts of other pests.

If you HAVE to do this, at least quarantine the plant for a while to make sure its pest free.
