My AC arrived and is installed. I definitely don't have room for a second waterfarm lol. The dimensions did not include the vent manifolds and the cooling shoots out the side so I need clearance on 3 sides. The cooling side I left a small gap away from the wall of the tent so it blows there, not efficient but it's working and I couldn't fit it anywhere else. I just finished to will test more when lights are back on.
As for the plant. It looked good all day but it starts to wilt really bad at night. I'm not sure if it got hot while I was ripping my tent apart, or I disturbed the roots, or more rot that made it worse but just incase I put a strong dose of h202 and uc roots in there. I'm going to fix this plant or kill it trying. I will persist with these doses every day till my water change on monday and I will also flush it with a strong dose of pool shock when I do the water change. Roots on the bottom seem fine, gotta be rot in the hydroton. So many roots in the hydroton I really can't see how I can get them all out and redo the hydroton in there. Theres roots holding onto them all over so it's super strong antiseptics, till either the rot or the plant dies.
The AC temperature probe isn't long enough so it's a bit low so I set the temperature to 22 and the tents exhaust vent to activate at 26. When it was running for the short time before the light went out the temp of the room was 25. I may need to adjust a little more. My goal is to maintain a temp of 25 while everything is running without the exhaust fan of the tent turning on. I am doing this because I want co2 in there and I don't want it exhausted out of the tent.
I feel like I spent way too much money for one plant. When everything is running (chiller and ac actively cooling) I'm at 850 watts which is quite high for one plant. It kept tripping my power bar that connects the whole tent so I put the AC on a different socket. The good news is I'll be insulating everything really well so the chiller doesnt activate too much. The AC is rated for 150sqft and is 5000btu so it only was activating for short periods to bring the temp down. It activates at 22.5 and turns off at 21.5. I hope it doesn't suck too much juice. Most of the time when the lights are on it "only" sucks 450w till i crank up the lights back to normal, which will bring me to 550, and at full light strength which I will probably never use in such a small tent its 750w. This light is incredibly bright.
