You guys think this would outlight a DE 1000w Fixture?

HLG Always tells how many diodes if you bother to look at the specs, hell its part of the name of their boards! QB 288............. 288 LM301h LEDs... And I'd take one of their l;ights over anyones. You'll find no company better to do business with than HLG and their customer service is the best.

And fuck all that low end Chinese shit!. I want to see someone have to ship this hulk back to China for repair....... Remember where Alibaba got its name.... and it ain't 40 thieves it's 40,000 thieves!
My bad. I wasn't trying to bash HGL, that other company didn't list the number of diodes so I checked HGL and I couldn't find it on their product page and specs.
But since you took the time to laud HGL I will say that I've had excellent experiences with Kingbrite, quality products down to the wiring, fast shipping, great communication, and at a great price.

HLG and HGL are two very different companies, HLG is quality and HGL is shit.

I know you weren't bashing HLG. I have come however to despise online Chinese merchants, seems like 90% of them are liars and thieves. These same companies selling QB ripoffs are the same ones who make the " 2000 Watt!" ( 145 watt actual draw....) burple garbage. So yeah that 4.32 I knew was horseshit, HLG's best is 3.02 and I've seen VERY FEW other in that range, maybe Fluence. So if they are lying about that, what else in the description is false?? If they are real Samsung LEDs, they were probably stolen from the reject bins, and yes, these companies really do that!

Haha! He said HGL...:spew:
They wont even send a lousy $2.50 pcb board to me or even acknowledge it. Did not work right outta the box. Some warranty hu! 20200410_190055.jpg
To bad cuz they could be decent leafy- green veggie lights or Supplementals to plain whites. But now the owner just RAN from all purchasers & is MIA.
ScamRon in action!

Haven't looked at their lights since their early ones with the mix of cobs and leds. Nice lights just out of mt price range lol!
Yeah, they've made some improvements since w/ the tech available. Do
You usually run the China Knock-offs or DIY?
Not sure what the end figures are for you after shipping n what not or labor/vs time/vs Coin?
The new Bar-6 LUV is only $1.26/watt rn on Pre-Orders. Gots me mine!

All my lights are real HLG QB based except my COB light, which came from HLG when they were Northern Grow Lights. Yes my budget says build your own, but I use the best parts I can get!

Not to sound Shilly but it appears you understand how inexpensive $1.26 a watt is when purchasing all the highest quality diodes then building a decent frame & thermal mngmt.
You'r budget says buy your own warranty backed, IP-67, Broad-Spectrum light if you ask me.

I ordered something similar from another manufacturer on Alibaba. They will be here tomorrow according to FedEx. Mine are less powerful at 720w each. First thing I’m doing is hooking up to a killawatt meter. The company I got mine from has them from 660w-1200w (claimed wall watts not that LED equivalent BS).

Shipping was around $120 per light. They have 8 bars each. I’m hoping to light up 5’x8’ space but can shrink or have room to expand depending on the light.

They claim to use top bin Samsung lm301h/b and osram reds. The efficiency is around 2.9 and the par map shows over 500 at all corners of a 5x5 IIRC. I’m not sure I believe any of it but for only around $1000 shipped, I was willing to risk it. I either get a piece of crap or a decent light I can use for the next year or two. I don’t expect it to last much longer and I don’t care if it does. I figure there’s gonna be some crazy new tech available that I’ll want to use by then.

If it’s crap my buddy has some HPS lights he’s not using and I’ll use these to veg or some shit.

From what I’ve seen, it looks like these Alibaba bars are being branded and sold for 2 or 3x more on grow store sites. I’m aiming to cut out the middle man and save some cash.
