Just bro science, people claim a lot of things without actually understanding. A lot of people claim it tastes better when you don't flush too so who knows. Experiment for yourself and see which you prefer!
This right here. Due to prohibition a lot of what people hear about growing is actually unsubstantiated. It's just been passed around growing circles for so long people don't question it.

I did a blind taste test once with two plants from clone. Both grown the same way, one flushed one not. Obviously not a perfect experiment but as close as I could get. None of my friends could tell which had been flushed. Two of my crunchier friends swore up and down you could tell. They both swore the unflushed sample tasted better, then got mad at me when I told them the results haha.

There's just no real science to back it up. All it does is starve your plants for two weeks. Nutrients don't leave plants just because you pour water over their roots.
Nutrients don’t leave the roots but the leaves are metabolised by the plant and used to produce the buds. It doesn’t matter where the nutrients come at that point - it’s getting chopped! Saves a little money I guess too.

I just taper my feeds off for the last couple of weeks and just use water for the last few waterings.

Smoke is super smooth even after a 2 day rush dry. Organic as rule.
