Advanced nutes micro grow & bloom

Hi all,

Currently running a dwc zkittles and was looking at diffo nutes.
a buddy gave me some advanced nutes micro grow and bloom but I’ve looked at the instructions and it’s the same amount of feed from each all the way through veg / flower.

ive looked at some reviews and people like to mess about with the amounts.
Just wondering if any of you guys use it and if so at what measurements.

I use as directed. In some strains i have to add cal mag. Some i dont. I water/feed in coco every morning. In flower i add a mollasses until week 5. Ive had to flush with distilled water once because my runoff was a bit high. Other than that so far so good. I have a dwc set up as well. Will keep you posted. I just flipped 2 that are in coco 10g pots

My dwc set up are 5 gallon buckets. Early veg at 400 ppm. Clone bubbler is at 250 and thats a lil too high for clones...anyway good luck. How far into your grow are you?

Not too far in the roots haven’t come out the bucket yet I’m feeding water n nutes through it atm

Advanced nutrients should just call their bottles salt bottles. worst shit I have ever used.
Do you mind me asking what you use atm? I have been considering ghe as I’ve used that once before yrs ago and had no problems the same amount for the feed with advanced nutes puts me off

Almost all bottled synthetic nutrients are the same, with slightly different makeup. I wouldn't say that AN is shit myself, as it does its job just as well as any other chelated nutrient solution.

Thing is, it's just so very much overpriced for what you get it's ridiculous. All bottled nutrients are.

I use GH trio, can be adjusted to suit needs of plant, as plants tend to need different amt of nutes at different stages! ;)

Before switching to water soluble powdered nutrients, I used GH Flora for several years successfully.
I use a mix of water soluble and liquid nutrients. Mostly because impossible to get higher than 0-15-15 without crystallization.

The Monopotassium Phosphate powder that I introduce at week 2.5 after switch to 12/12 is 0-52-34.

I don't add it to my stock tanks though, I mix it in a ratio of 64 grams to 4 litres of water. This concentrate solution allows me to use 100mL in one gallon of the other macro/micro nutrients that I do mix in stock tanks.

The 100mL works out to 1.6g of MKP per gallon of the overall nutrient mix I then water my plants with in one gallon milk/distilled water jugs.

Looks good, but back off the Nitrogen a tad. You've got some N toxicity happening, identifiable by the very dark green leaves with leaf tips bending down at a 90 degree angle.
Today is week 5 and I cut all N from here on! Thanks for the tip. Could you check on my journal and let me know where I can improve.

I did not say to "cut all N"! That's an extreme reaction which you should not exercise.

I said back off the N a tad. Plants need N throughout the entire growth cycle. If the problem persists after a couple of feeds, back off slightly more. If you reduce too much and start seeing the bottom leaves begin to yellow, you've backed off too much, so bump it up a tiny bit and call it a day.
