You should be fine. If you have to just bend the taller ones down a bit.
That's why I said "to keep tucking" earlier..lol. But when ur going away, your going away. Not much u can do.

Looks like it will yield well so far. Think about harvesting in stages, top down.

Back in town.. the fungus gnats are a bit of a problem.. they’re sticking to the the buds. Tried tweezing them out which sucked. I busted the vacuum out and vacuumed the bugs off with minimal damage. I top dressed with neem seed meel. Going to get some yellow fly paper. Did some defoliating and bent down the tall branches in the front. Has anyone bent stems during flowering?

No, I try to keep stress away of any kind when in flower unless say, like when the colas get too tall, I bend other than that I try not to mess with the plant much. I hope you treat your media because thats the source of you fungus gnat infestation. Good luck!

Yes. Rather than "popping" them like you do in super cropping, Use gardening wire or similar and tie them down like Mainliners do.

Looks messy but you will get a good GPW id wager.
Look into bud washing if the Fungus gnats persist.

Hey, doesnt bud washing destroy/remove tricomes too? I did a 2 gallon wash instead of 3. It was water with h202 in the first and plain water on the second. I dunked half the plant in the wash and left the other half alone. The buds I did dunk had a significant amount of missing trichomes compared to the other one. Maybe I did it wrong (wasnt gentle if I can find a reason for the closest probable cause)?

No. No one else seems to report losing trichs. May of if you used very cold water and were aggressive with it.

If its for personal smoko then yes I'd harvest asap and do a H20 bath on the harvest. Give the grow area a good clean to remove any mould spores. Mould can spread fast. Throw out any moulded bud you find of cause.

Your harvest should get you through to the next harvest pretty comfortably if your not throwing it around. Look at why you got mould and maybe invest in a dehumidifier (I have a small one set on auto 24/7) and look at ways to solve your heat issue and any other problems you noticed on the run.

I have a dehumidifier running in the room. I think the mound may have shown up bc one of the ducts going through the cool tube became disconnected. I’m hoping that’s what caused it. I’ll have to wait until Monday to chop hopefully it doesn’t spread

How did everything go Doug?
With dense SCROGs like yours, air circulation inside the canopy is important. I use an occilating fan underneath the canopy angled up. Reasons some of us don’t like to overfill our scrogs:

1. Air circulation: mold, heat stress, CO2 absorption
2. Shadowing of taller buds block lower buds
3. Saves time training/vegging the plant.

All strains are different so knowing how much it stretches helps a lot. I hope it went well and you could salvage a majority of your herb.

Cheers

The best advice I never saw. That grow was definitely a learning experience. I shot way to high with all those strains in there and temps were high. I think I was only able to achieve a decent terpene profile on one or two strains I grew that time. Heat was a big issue.

This year, i brought my grow equipment to my friends’ house (no space currently). I brought up one of outdoor plants that was in a10 gallon to his house too. The strains called marmalate, an early finishing strain. It’s got a great start vegging. I got it under the same scrog cage as last time, got a new 400 watt MH light for my sun system. I transplant it from a 10 gallon to a 30 gallon and working on filling the scrog now. I bought an ac to duct in to alleviate the heat issue. Going to make a journal here again to get some help along the way. Pictures to come

Peace

I would have just stick with the 10gal pot myself. 30gal is for when you want to do a single plant ScroG in a 10x10 space. I do mine in 4 - 5gal pots for the largest.

You planning on tying down your grow tips as it grows until the screen is good and full before flowering? Should get a massive yield if you do.

Yup. I’m not cutting any corners this time around. I was thinking 10 gallons would probably suffice but I know the root system will at least double when we flip. Could see some root tips barely peaking through when I cut the smart pot to transplant. Going to make sure the screen is filled before flipping, got an ac and dehuey and Plan on getting co2 tanks for flower. Thanks for chiming in, your insight is appreciated

Filling up nicely.. I started reducing light from 18 hrs of light to 16 a week ago and reducing to 14 next week, top dressing w organic bloom nutes, then to 12/12 the week after
What's with the lowering light hours a bit at a time? If you want it to flower just switch to 12/12 and in a week you'll see buds start forming. If you want it to keep vegging then leave at 18/6 until it's the size you want before flipping.

That screen is looking pretty full enough and the stretch will fill it up more.

I’ve heard from some folks here ( @Richard Drysift ) that it will stretch a bit less and have closer node structures by reducing slowly, simulating the seasons changing. Do you think it’s ready for flip or keep vegging for a week or 2?
