2nd grow!!!

let me start off by saying I've never done or even concidered doing a grow journal. As I gain more knowledge on the topic I will add more detail. As to how often I will be posting... could be once a week or 3 I dont know. We shall see.


SETUP-
Tent-36"×20"×63"
Light- 1×Mars Hydro TS1000 (looking to get another soon).
Soil- Fox Farm Happy Frog (25% added perlite)
Carbon Filter- 6" AC Infinity with crappy booster fan(didnt do my research properly so now I have a 160 cfm intake fan. Will be upgrading exhaust to 400 cfm. Not sure what brand yet)

Germinated in peat pods that they are still in

I'm looking to do a scrog with the 2 strongest ( if thats even possible considering size of tent.. please let me know

Any and all help is and would be greatly appreciated.

I'm working with GSC
Currently on day 2 of sprout.

You want to know if you can scrog two plants in that tent?

Depends on rate of growth nodes etc. Take care of those babies and when she hits 6 nodes top her back to the 4th. That's my opinion.

I agree. Should be about 2 weeks. 2-3 days after topping I would remove the bottom 4 branches and leave the top 4.

Top all you want once you know more about the method. But make sure when topping fim etc you dont plan on flipping until after she has recovered from the training your using.

Smart. Be patient and you will be rewarded.

6th node, cut to 4th. Then update us.

You keep saying cut at 6th to 4th... why is this? Everything I've seen shows topping at just the newest growth. Can you further explain your reasoning please?

By the 6th node she will have rooted well enough that topping wont hurt her. Top too soon you'll slow growth. I promise this is a good starting point. 6 nodes shouldn't take more than 2 weeks.

After doing some more research just now i agree with your statement. Now the question is... top or fim? Or should I wait till 6th node and top to 4th and then fim the new growth?

You're a quick learner. Keep researching as much as possible. What I DID was at 21 days, I topped her. AND I fimmed a couple spots too.

This is what she looked like at day 30/31

I just cut 5 clones off so showing you what she looked like before I cut her up. Also I have done MINOR LST as well.

I'll post a pic of what she looks like now after this post.

Even if you don't top with just LST they can get bushy, I am in my second grow as well and I was nervous about topping and decided to just do LST and they turned out great so far I think, although next grow I'm going to top to see how that is.

She's looking beautiful. Is there any chance you can get me a good side angle picture of your stalk structure? That would help me better understand when and where

I'm tying her back down tonight. But here is my stem. Is this helpful? I can post pics later of her tied down if that will help.
