Hey what’s up guys it’s ya boi.
This will be my one grow journal of all things growing. I may have questions along the way. I am open to helpful tips. Please no shit posting or bantering. I’m straight business and science.
First update is the current situation. 4 plants in one DWC.
LED. Optic 4 and blurple viparspectra dimmable.
67liter rubbermade. Not sure where the 67liter starts but by my calculations the bin holds more H2O...
One 300 marina pump. One Walmart fish tank one. 2 stones.
Using GH maxi duo. And putting some GH pk booster lately.
GH flourolishous plus.
Epsom salts
Some calMax once and a while
I have some langbenite that I have been experimenting with in the reservoir.
I started the plants under the blurple at a dimmed light for energy savings. I eventually switched to the optic 4. And I just today added the blurple for extra light.
I’m thinking I’m in the 5th ish week of flower. I’m not sure how long since I flipped.
I also have a ghost pepper plant in soil with 4 peppers growing. . I have some scotch bonnet peppers in Rockwool that I give some water every time I check pH and ppm.
I also have tobacco plants growing Which I have made many seeds from crossing different types. This summer I will try a tobacco garden. They will all be F1s.
One of my first questions is in regards to Canadian growers, with the 4 plant limit, what system and methods are you using to maximize your time and yield? As well as play with different genetics? The 4 plant thing slows down genetic experiments...
One thing I just learned in regards to my climate is that you don’t want to be in deep flowering at this time because the humidity outside is starting to rise. Next time I would like to chop at the latest mid March, when it is very dry where I live.
So that’s my set up. Only issue I am having is dealing with humidity, I have to find a way to get fresh air in or out. How important is really CO2 ... how long until the plants use up all the co2 in a room ?
