Day 17. Thinking I might do 1 more round of defoliation to remove a few leaves covering bud sites. Yay or nay? If I decide to I'm running short on time from what I've read.
Ok. Week 3 defoliating...I decided to do 1 last major cutting today before I watered them. This is my first grow ever and I haven't been shy so far so let's just say I chopped the heck out of them. I mean I freaking went for it newbie and all! I'll know soon if I messed up or not but they've bounced back from every scissor session I've thrown at em so I'm not too worried ya know. Go for it. Well here they are. I just peeked in a couple hours after cutting and watering and they appear to be bouncing back already will definitely be able to tell in 2moros pictures.
Tonight after work. Good morning ladies...seem to have bounced back well. Can tell I trimmed a tad low on a few branches. This is my first grow I'm learning. I think I'll be happy with what I get though. Already have the next strain picked out! Still have a couple Skywalker OG seeds but I'm going with something else next or maybe 1 Skywalker and some of the next strain. The picture of a unhappy lady was taken last night right after I chopped them up.
Probably water and feed them again 2moro. Temp steady 79 humidity around 40%. Took some pictures. Not much really to do with them today. I did raise the lights again seems like a few inches every couple days.
Girls got fed according to feeding chart today. Big bloom, grow big, and tiger bloom. No calmag tonight. Ph 6.4 checked runoff was 6.3ish. temp 79 rh 38%
Day 22 of flower. Took some pictures and played them a little music after work. 77 degrees around 40% rh. Starting to smell like a musty gym sock in a way lol.
I like your idea of less/bigger plants next run. That's how my grows have progressed.
I grew 8 square autos like yours (jam packed tent) in a 4x4.
Now, 2 photos is all I need in a 4x8 and my yields keep increasing.
Thanks for the good words smoke. I'm trying and everything isn't perfect but all and all for my first time I'm happy and if I get them to the end I have a feeling I'll be very happy! Took a few pics and rotated pots today. Will probably water again 2moro.
Watered the ladies with tiger bloom ph 6.5. checked my runoff 1 was 6.4 the other 2 around 6.7...is that 6.7 gonna bite me? The girl I think is the sexiest was a 6.7...eh idk probably worrying for nothing. I did notice about a week ago some rust colored spots on a few of the leaves and from what I read it may have been a nutrient deficiency from lock out and my pH was over 7 so I'm not sure what happened there but I'm trying to get it under control and it hasn't gotten any worse in last week.
Day 34. Today's pictures. Can see the spots in a couple pictures. Still haven't gotten worse. Will plain water next time might add calmag. Last calmag was Friday bottle says once a week so idk if I should give half a dose a day early or late?
