Grain bag to Bulk question...?

Fan it good a few times a day and mist the tote not the tray. I usually have damp perlite on the bottom so the humidity goes up after fanning but misting the tote a bit is fine. The orange is just stress metabolites and I've had good flushes with it still.

I've pulled a couple off...but they were the jar Tek this is my 1st try at the grain bags to Bulk Tek...the 1st grow was B+ n was super fast n easy n nice harvest...prolly around 40+ grams dry when it was done n then I took the spent cakes n mixed em with some compost n put the mix in a pot under back deck n got another 20grams or so from an outdoor flush...huge shrooms...2nd grow was the Penis Envy...much slower n less weight on the harvest, prolly abt 30gs total...but without a doubt they were the most potent mushroom I've ever consumed...they're special for sure.683527399-20190826_113410.jpg683523408-20190826_113422.jpg

I also bruised the surface by clipping a fan to the edge of the tub to evap surface instead of manual fanning...

I'm not the best mushroom grower in the world...but each time Ive tried I've managed to pull sumthin outta each tub...

Aren't fully colonized blocks supposedly pretty resistant to contamination?

I did BRF cakes in shotgun chamber so i'm not sure if the same applies to bulk but..I cut all mushrooms that were ready while keeping the pins and continued to mist/fan...checked on em daily and if they continued to grow I rode with it..if the pins aborted or just stopped I knew the cake were done..
I had alot of early pins that came about 3 days before the 'main' pinset..I pretty much got 2 flushes in one if that makes sense..Never attempted a second flush

Looks good!

Thanks man...yeah I've been reading n have decided to just pick em as they're ready until she stops producing n then from what I've read let the block sit a few days to "rest" n then I may dunk her for a round 2

Anytime :cool:...yeah that sounds like a good plan, good luck with the rest of your grow man! If you haven't already (which I'm sure you did) I would head over to the shroomery.org , they got a wealth of information over there
