Just in case if anyones wondering out there what the most cost effiecient and best thing to do would be...I put his thread together.
Ive included pics of my latest project to show the clear and major differences in results of using hps lighting vs cfl lighting during flower cycle.
Keep in mind when considering size as shown that these colas were grown on the same plant so the difference is going to be even more drastic without any hps lighting introduced into the flower room.
Also, the hps used on these particular plant is actually only a 32 dollar same as 350 watt hps security light found in the home security lighting isle at either lowes or home depot, which i was able to keep 4 inches from the tops of the plants!
After seeing the final results of what to expect, I have to ask, if ur at the depot getting cfls, why would ya not hit the security lighting section and at least pick up a cheap hps? I should have picked up 3 of these lamps lol, ive easily got more than a hundo in cfls burning right now!
