Outside temp.

On my first grow and all going well, but even after googling for an answer on outdoor growing temps I'm getting some conflicting answers.
I'm outdoor growing in western europe. Daytime temps are about 16-18 degrees. I'm doing the 12/12 thing and putting them in a cupboard indoors overnight but when the days get cold, which is on its way should I leave them indoors all day or put them out still. Another month and it'll be closer to 9-12 degrees or thereabouts. Not expecting to harvest for about another 10-12 weeks. Planted a little late.

Are those night time temps?

12 degrees c or 48.5 degrees F is really low.

How much light are you getting per day right now?

It's fine.... I mean our tempts will be down to freezing already wed. I still have another month and a half left lol
Freezing temps? I thought you were in Cali. The entire west coast is on a heat advisory. Here in Portland it isn't going to dip below the upper 50's at night for at least the next 10 days. It's supposed to be 90f this Wednesday. Am I misinterpreting your post? I'm easily confused. :bigjoint:

Like I said, I'm easily confused. I've been following your thread in the outdoor growing section and just assumed you were in Cali with those monster plants you're growing. I now just read your last post regarding the weather. You're obviously not in Cali.

They're talking about cutting the power around Mt Hood due to high temps and a forecast of high winds. They don't want the power lines to spark any fires like what happened in Paradise California. We're in some serious trouble out west with forest fires. It's stupid crazy heat this late. But at least if we have a hot fall season my outdoor plant might have a chance to finish. But I'd take some cooler temps and rain right now.

Send it this way. California just declared a state of emergency over the fires. We're not doing that bad yet here in Oregon but it's only going to get worse and with all the people out camping over the holidays there are bound to be more fires started.

"A rare combination of heat, dry air and strong easterly winds will build into the Pacific Northwest starting Monday, and much of Oregon and Southern Washington will go under a red flag warning – indicating critical fire conditions – through Wednesday. "

In a month it could be down to below 10 at night. At the moment its about 16-18 degrees daytime. They are getting 12 hours outside at the moment.
That's damn near tropical compared to here! When I went to bed at 3am my plant was sitting in her little greenhouse open at 2.5C and looks fine today. I can seal her right up when it goes below 0C and have a little heater I can use to keep her from freezing but she still has a few weeks to go and this is northern Alberta where it can be +20C one day and -20C the next. I expect some freezing and likely some snow before she's done but going to see if I can get her through to the end. High CBD plant with less than 1% THC so good medicine for me. She's 59"/150cm tall today and not stretching any more. I put her start of flowering date at Aug 16 and she was supposed to be an auto fem girl but didn't auto. Sprouted on June 20 and put outside in the ground July 2 I believe.

I have a remote temp/rh sensor hanging in the upper centre of the plant so I can monitor the temp at my desk. The plastic folds over to close the front if needed and sealed all around with a dirt berm. RH goes way up so I got to watch for that but as the temps go down so does our RH which is very low most of the time.

Trump's plans are working perfectly then. Burn down the whole country starting with that nasty state of pot users, hippies and democrats. lol

Vote like your life depends on it 'cause it does!

I've been catching the news and it's just nasty down there. Makes me hate living in Bumf**k, Alberta a lot less. Praying for rain to get there soon!

First time parents always worry too much. :)

This was my first try at serious growing outdoors here as a regular plant can never finish in time. I tried many years ago a couple seasons and both times frost killed them before the end of August when they were just getting into flowering. I put 4 out that were all supposed to be auto fems. 2 came up auto males and one as a regular male but hi-THC strain so I chopped it down but have a few branches sitting in a jar of water in the bedroom closet dropping pollen for me and I planned to collect it today and may still yet.

This one came up a girl at least but at least I have more seeds so will grow them out over the winter and try making my own fem seeds from them. I have one of her strain that d d auto fem but is quite small. I want to plant a lot outside next year but will have to see how my breeding project goes.

Trump has done nothing to stop nationwide legalization. My state and others have legalized recreational and medical use while he has been President. What exactly are you babbling about politics in our country for?
