I see the appointing of Cruz as an affront to half the country. The law only is as good as far as people believing in it. With the SC skewed to the right I can see people not abiding by the law and things going down the way of a police state. On the other hand people can get discusted in the power grab from the right and it may cause a landslide to Democrats. But still with a Right agenda SC something will break. Then again trump and Barr along with the SC can lock down the country until they feel it is safe to have another election (with the SC ruling in Trump's favor). Shame the old bird could not hang on, she does deserve her peace though.

Funny ya don't see them senators at Trump rallies and Donald never seems to campaign for them GOP senators lately either, maybe him and Miss Lindsay should stump together, like King and Queen... I'm sure Susan Collins up there in Maine could use Donald's help on the huskings... Why there must be lot's of tight senate races where Donald could make a real difference if he showed up in the state. I'm sure the super spreader events rallies will help the local GOP a lot!

The Pukes will never get a nominee now so close to November 3, and after those cunts lose more seats in the Senate, which will happen, Biden will appoint a Liberal that will continue to balance the Supreme Court
She hung on long enough to stymie any hope of Trump getting another nominee that will be confirmed.
She was a good person & hopefully whomever takes her seat will follow her legacy of moral courage.
I personally don't believe in a God, but if there is one, bless her.

You don’t think McConnell will try anyway? He said he was going to. The new congress doesn’t get sworn in until January 3rd. I fully expect McConnell to try to ram another appointment through with this Congress.

I realize It’s hard to accept that the most corrupt president in history would be able to nominate 3 SC justices, but I won’t be surprised if it happens.

And if it happens, be prepared for a reversal of Roe V Wade.

He'll do it. It will be after the election and probably after they lose the Senate and White House. It'll be the ultimate lame duck fuck you like the bunch of Wisconsin cunts did right after they lost the governor's race. The right wing has no respect for the Constitution or the country as a whole and will use any means they can, no matter how un-American, to personally gain.
