Get a 1200watt LED on amazon preferably one with a COB LED “Chip on Board”. They’re relatively cheap & yes you can get away with one light.I'm going to be growing 2 royal gorilla autos and if they go well I'll get the non auto versions.
I don't want to have to use a tent if I don't have to
If I want to use LED only could I get away with using only one and if so, any recommendations?
Please don't recommend anything. You are spreading bad information. Let me guess that's a blurple you're recommending, lol.Get a 1200watt LED on amazon preferably one with a COB LED “Circuit on Board”. They’re relatively cheap & yes you can get away with one light.
Probably about £50 still need to get some more notes and I don't know whether this is gonna be more than a one time thingBudget?
Don't expect much if that's all you can spend. I wouldn't even bother looking at LED then.Probably about £50 still need to get some more notes and I don't know whether this is gonna be more than a one time thing
You recommended NOTHING, & only offered an insult as your recommendation he said he is leaning towards LED. So Go ahead & recommend a LED that’s relatively cheap & he would actually consider without spending almost a grand or more. Please don't recommend anything. You are spreading bad information. Tent is easier to control environment. Stay away from cheap blue & red leds on amazon. Don’t fall for reviews.I'm going to be growing 2 royal gorilla autos and if they go well I'll get the non auto versions.

Use the closet.. you can hang the light from the bar that’s usually in there. The room I'm going to grow ins my old room its totally blacked out.
I'm totally new to this so as far as lighting goes I don't know what's needed to get proper growth and stuff
FYI COB stands for chip on board, not circuit on board.Get a 1200watt LED on amazon preferably one with a COB LED “Circuit on Board”. They’re relatively cheap & yes you can get away with one light.
Right on, if you have a dedicated room. That's awesome. The room I'm going to grow ins my old room its totally blacked out.

Autocorrect, thank you I’ll correct itFYI COB stands for chip on board, not circuit on board.
Being in a bigger space depending on the weather with hid is it possible that heat from the light won’t be an issue?Right on, if you have a dedicated room. That's awesome.
I'd look at getting a HID setup for as big of an area you wanna cover, and some fans for now. Quality LED isn't cheap. Maybe even find a used HID light if you can to save a few more bucks. I can tell you though, this is an addictive hobby, and most people just keep buying more shit, like me, lol.
It won't be an issue as fast, that's for sure. If it's totally sealed, the heat will have no where to go though.Being in a bigger space depending on the weather with hid is it possible that heat from the light won’t be an issue?
So if im using an entire room for my darkness cycle will like a 600 watt led above it not be enough for its day cycle?Right on, if you have a dedicated room. That's awesome.

For a proper grow... you need a MINIMUM of 35w per square foot in order to yield anything worth smoking. The more watts per square foot the better. Right now I’m running 37.5w per square foot with my 600w HPS in my 4x4 tent. My whole setup was around $500 USD. Good luckThe room I'm going to grow ins my old room its totally blacked out.

IMO there are far better things to watch during the winter months than CNBC. LolGood to know because if I do get a room to dedicate to the plants I’m going to be looking into hid/CNBC/hps for winter month's.
And that’s also where c02 can come into play? I’m guessing it can help keep the room cool and make the brightness more tolerable? It won't be an issue as fast, that's for sure. If it's totally sealed, the heat will have no where to go though.
