Mine are in 3 gallon pots on the patio. They may be spending some nights in the garage if it gets too cold

I am more worried about getting another string of northeasters like last season.

Lots 2 full plants last year to a single frost 1 night (all bud rot over night). I’m in the process of building a temp greenhouse right now just to cover them up at night in the event of a sudden drop in temp. Most of my plants are 9ft+ tall. Not risking that again this year.

That being said and having not grown in several years is there anything I could do to prevent potential bud rot? Any specific treatment organic or preferred method of operation.

I’m in south east mass. Def have at least 4 weeks left for my girls. Super late as opposed to last year. So far, all plants are super healthy but man are they growing slowww. Like way slower than normal

it wouldnt be a treatment on the leaves thing... it has to do w the temps and stuff but im pretty sure it has to do with the way the water relases from the plant... a bad vpd will allow the water relasing from the plant thru the photosythises to stay in or on the leaves too long... the outsides of the nugs can usual be dried by wind but the inside are the issue... if im in the danger zone.. ill reduce the watering... but idk if that helps... but i do know the bigger the nugs the more toruble your in... last year i threw out what i thought would have been about 6 pounds of mostly the biggest colas.... it wasnt the cold that did them in... it was when it was cold and rainy for a few days... and mine r in a greenhouse.. so it wasnt thhey were wet from rain... it was vpd induced bud rot... im pretty sure... its an inside out thing... and those things suck to deal w... i just amputate... anything w a weird color that looks like cobwebs a little deeper in...

Not sure if nearby western MA is the same, but here in southern VT we’ve been in mild drought conditions for awhile now... hopefully that’ll help on the mold front.

The outdoor grow just wasn't going to happen this year in Western Mass - started too early, maybe and the plants got too big to really take care of. Hurricanes caused major damage. Slugs came out in droves. Buds were way behind schedule. The only hope was moving this grow indoors to get them to finish... that's when I noticed the hermies... oh well... AFGE. I'm gonna finish the grow no matter what anyway

I feel like it's more than mild...... don't usually see the rivers and streams so low

For sure, some of our brooks where people usually swim are down to puddles, and NH and ME have had fire warnings on and off for a week+. Alert I got this morning said RH in the 20% range.

Hey guys i have been using this product ,Oxidate 2.0, for a couple of seasons and it will kill powdery mildew, not sure if if it kills bud rot. I have used it as both a spot preventative spray and as full dipping bath at harvest. It is basically like a peroxide on steroids is how I look at it. It is OMRI listed and leaves no residue. I can only say it has worked for me so check it out, a jug goes along way.

With viticulture it is a fact that a little stress on the vines leads to exceptional grapes. The plant thinks the end of its life is imminent and focuses all of its energy in the fruit.
