ok simple Q, if you had 2 600s would you spread the footprint or cram close for overlap, space is 6hx8lx8w plant limit 6 , thanks in advance

too much space for 2 lights. might as well set up 2 corners of the room on opposite sides and add floating reflective walls.

the entire room are those dimensions , obviously not trying to fill the 8x8 just curious with my 6x3 footprint should I tighten that to 5x3 or keep both lights at the 3x3 without any overlap

ok thanks , perhaps I'm chasing a ghost but I've read of some people over lapping lights for better ppfd. perhaps I was mislead
It's true I'm sure. I was looking at fitting more plants under the lights rather than increasing intensity. Sorry. You are correct. I've read about ppl doing it. I read a lot these days.

I guess I'm splitting hairs, since where I live max plant limit is 6 so I stagger 3 plants 4 weeks behind the other 3, that way i can be semi perpetual (veg room separately with leds) ive only ever run the 1 600 and my 5 under it are very over crowded, so I'm thinking 3 plants each (their raised on a 4x4 pallet that is use to judge the sq ft)

oh def throw the other in there over the 3 plants then. 3x5 ... 3 plants with a 2 foot distance from each other in a triangle with both lights above. If there’s a plant limit might as well blow them out lol

sweet thanks man !
Running with the fan outside of your tent tells me you don't have the other equipment necessary to put two of those lights in your tent. When i used lights like that i had a vent up threw the ceiling & glass faced hoods removing heat. Light is one part of the equation moving air & removing heat are equally important. If you keep things in balance you will be a happy grower out of balance creates problems. Problems for others to diagnose over the net for the most part a guess without asking several questions.
