I’ve had good luck with coast of maine stonington mix and just water start to finish. NO TRANSPLANT’s, plant it right in the finishing pot.

edit: one must also make sure they either filter for chlorine with a hose filter or let it evap off, the chlorine with destroy the microbes in the quality soil.
they have some COM at the hydro shop along with Ocean forest almost right next to each other, going to try this aswell I am switching to RO as my tap is extremely hard water and I am learning the berkshires naturally have to much lime in our tap and or man made buffers. this is all also possibly leading to learning organics...thanks guys

whats up fellow massholes , long time lurker first time posting but perhaps anyone in the berkshire county area use the tap water?! I've been finding a unique problem now 5 weeks into flower and my auto white lsd is in major nute lockout and cal def. I've been feeding this water along with advanced nutrients ph perfect(which isn't working). just went to wally world to get my first RO water but man it sucks to resort to buying it . seems like everyone praises tap water unless u seem to live close to a limestone quarry. be that as it may has anyone else encountered this issue my assumption is to switch to bottled and eventually possibly end up purchasing a RO filter (will add cal/mg) . ps tap water is 8.3 from tap no change after gassing off.ppm out of tap is 175 to 200. sorry if this question has been asked already just really need some local advice!
not sure if this is what youre asking but i live in the berks and my tap water ph is over 7. so i have to ph down every single time i water

Morning report, so I had a little bud rot on a decent cola which I chopped the top off, theres a pic somewhere back there, I stuck it in a little stone square boz and forgot about it, found it this morning, it molded FAST. I put it in a ziplock in trash, washed out the box and lid and key and junk that was in box, and my hands. So thats one pic. Then I looked around and see I bthink I burned a couple plants with too high of potassium, they had a little yellow purple, and I fed them again yesterday, they dont look happy. Thats a couple other pics, and just a couple black and whites I took. This morning it is damp, foggy, drizzly and rain reported heavy just to the north of me. Gonna be a soggy week, have to keep a very close eye on the kids.

So I am thinking of taking @doug mirabelli advice and doing the wash with peroxide, only question about that I have is this, if you wash all your bud, and there is hidden spores/rot/gunk in the colas, wont you be adding that to colas that you dip after that that dont have anything? And when you say wash, do you mean submerge and take out, or stir them, shake them? Is there a method??

10 gallon trash can, 2 cups peroxide, Ive also heard there are good results with Oxidate??? But as a first timer, Ill probably go with the peroxide, as doug seems to really know what he is talking about. And my problem child, I took her yellow leaves off. shes still a little sickly, (yellow plant in pic) more importantly, Im starting to see leaves yellowing here and there, and Im hoping its from the end of life cycle, as there are only 2-3 weeks left.

If they can survive the dang rain.

Last note, do you guys think I should flush out that high potassium I added?? Is it too late? Was about 24 hours ago. I fed them a week ago exactly, and watered them in between, but not as much as I usually do. Usually I soak them, but this past week I gave em just enough to not be thirsty, like 1-2 liters apiece.

Can you see how foggy it is in the last picture???
Haha, I got you fooled! Lol I like to think I know what I’m talking about. This is like my fifth or sixth total run and 4th outdoor. It’s been a lot of up and (mostly) downs. Im striving to leave no stone unturned this year and do what I can to avoid the same mistakes I made in the past while still asking questions to you guys and specific people on here. It’s an ever learning experience growin this plant there’s so many variables. Going further on the wash, I cut a few sketchy looking branches that were honestly probably fine but they looked like they could go to rot for some reason and I did see a small infection so I just cut out the whole area. Looked inside to see soo many bugs just chillin on triches. Gotta wash em. I’ll add To that I think I’m going to try and avoid fat colas in the future. My unknown kush has different development than the other two, who are more Sativa I guess. I don’t really know what I’m talking about there but I know my critical and Sensi skunk are much less subject to rot and bugs chillen inside the nooks than the unknown kush which has fat, baseball bat colas, similar to my untopped autos that all rotted out earlier this month. End rant lol

Holy Mole-E, I was so fixated on that one plant looking burnt, that I didnt look too close at my Purple Erkle and all I can say is WOW!!! It is rare to notice colas growing over night, especially when you check on them 10x a day but I just took a close look at her and she is swelling up like a fat man at an all you can eat buffet. It makes me so grateful to have learned to be patient. Years ago, Id be halfway through my cure by now. And although some people are happy with the smaller colas, call me a glutton, I just love thos 2 liter sized Bombastic Monsters. And the Purple is definitely headed there if not there already. Love it when things work out.

The Problem Child: Just but the sniffer to her, and she has almost no smell? Kinda weird, still has some white pistils, but I think Im gonna take her out of the garden before she gets to rotten cotton.

I keep saying that. Gotta just do it. Anyone heard of the no/hardly any smell? Is that a sign shes past prime???

Unfortunately, Im stuck on fat colas, but I find myself constantly, prying, poking, prodding and peeling back top sections just to check inside them carefully. This also seems to let air get in there a little more than none, Im a vigilant SOB. Always inspecting and on the lookout. This mornings mist has gone by, and plants seem ok. dont know how much longer I can fend the rot off but Im trying.

Same man. I’m starting to see more and more albeit very small spots, it’s only a matter of time. Critical is getting close now but the top colas look behind the side branches. The Sensi skunk I think could be the winner living up to its name although slowest in terms of flowering, seems very resistant to the bullshit

Ive got one plant that was a foot tall when the rest were like 4, she has come out very dark green and thick leaves with cheese looking dense buds, although not a lot and shes still only about 3-4 feet, but dang, Id love to clone her and keep her through the winter. She looks as if a bug ever landed on her, shed chew it up and spit it out.

A couple of pics from the garden on this beautiful Saturday morning.
Since I gave him a spray of some caterpillar juice last week have yet to see a worm. Have had two fans going at night it seems to have kept the PM off as I've yet to see any on any of the plants. Just hope this beautiful weather keeps up.
