Build a Tee pee and tarp it at night.

but that wouls still leave you with the "What to do's" in the day time if rain comes.
Also, I'd need a 10-11 ft teepee. Lol. Never thought of that, I do have some 5 footer to 6 ft and plenty of sumac I can whack down, ty for this great idea!

Wrapping in plastic will only increase your problems. No air flow and increased humidity. Earlier post stated this.

All out war here the last month. Heavy defol, regalia and weekly greenhouse spray down with iso. Winning. But major casualties. Too serious to have an answer. But I'm tossing branches of frosty buds every week. Let us know when there is an actual safe cure. I'm still reading.

Well darlin the bad part is ...looks like you still have while to go on that. If you can afford a leaf blower I would invest in one. Just constantly be blowing them off and shaking the shit out of the plant. Fight the good fight til you absolutely have to take them down.
Thing is I shake em a lil too much, and the branches break. Lotta fist sized and up tops that are so frigging dense. Last year things seemed a little more fluffy? This year it's like Play-Doh at the branch tips . Or at.least fist like in weight as well as size
