Are these ready to harvest

I know that when most pistils are orange and curl. I see mostly orange hairs everywhere. Should I harvest them or wait little longer.
Hey Bud, welcome to RIU. They look close but not quite there, still some pistils stretching in a couple pics but you are close. Have you been checking the trichomes on the buds (not the leaves) with a loupe or usb microscope? Can you post a pics of whole plant to go along with close ups? Here are some pics to help you with what you are looking for. Congrats on going further than many do while waiting for buds to ripen. You may be able to start harvesting in sections as not every plant or bud site will mature at the same time. Have you tapered off your nutes?

I always think it’s weird the same people hang out in the newbie section and give advice but don’t post any pics of their grow or any of the threads about genetics with all the pics and growers...think it’s funny people take advice from people that don’t grow shit.

I know for a fact @Doug Dawson and myself post pics of our grows all the time.

Not sure who you are referring to but people are happy to help. Isn't that a good thing?

yes it is a good thing from people that actually help or people with the knowledge to help. I just see a lot of the same faces give advice and was wondering were I might find their grows to see if the advice is good or not or maybe the newbies can cross reference if it is a good idea to listen to you.

I get your concern, my suggestion would be don't just listen to any one person blindly. I submit anyone that would just take advice from a stranger at face value and act only on that advice should probably just buy their pot and not grow it. That would go for anything you are searching for really. Many people are here to help, some know more than others. Find multiple sources for your information, go through all the research and than act on what seems logical to you. If you dig thought people's posts you can either find substance that will help you trust their judgement or not. Now if you are seeing misinformation call it out, that is why this is an open forum. Explain why you feel specific advice given is wrong and back up your claim. You may save some folks a ton of trouble. All opinions welcome and debate is healthy. The more folks that speak out the better source of information this place can be. Happy growing.

I don’t need to enjoy anything I think these new growers with question should be able to know if the people that are helping them actually know what they are doing that was my point in all this. The whole start to this thread is bob and bk arguing and that lead me think about we’re do you see the grows of people trying to help and see if you can verify their knowledge..

Many of the more experienced growers and members have links to their current or recent grows in their signature line at the bottom of their posts. Checking out what others do and how they grow is a very valuable way for new growers to actually learn something!

I wasnt trying to tell you what to do.....

If some one is intelligent they will take the sum of the information and go with what gets stated the most.

People have to start somewhere. As did we all.

Your right dont take 1 specific persons word for anything.

But getting responses from multiple people will help sift the bullshit.

Well enough of this talk back to how to cure my weed until it is brown and really cured. :bigjoint:
LOL, that is a great example of what you spoke of. You have some valid concerns that I am sure most share and I am glad you brought them up. I think it is something more people should be thinking about. The fact is there are those who just spew wrong information and also those who just blindly listen to the first person they come across who give them advice. The followers don't really grow, they just act like a pair of hands and blindly do what others tell them without ever questioning why. I work in IT and for me the word "WHY" is a center point of my existence. It drives me to learn about everything I do. It is almost an obsession. My wife can be the opposite, she can just let things go, myself I always need to know why something happened. It's what makes me good at what I do and also a real pain in the ass sometimes. Growing cannot be paint by numbers, it is about learning and putting that knowledge into practice. Now it is time for me to pick up my wife from work so I can smoke some of my coprophil filled goodness, lol. Thankfully I did not blindly follow someone's advice and cure my pot in 2 days by treating it for an ear ache with a heating pad. Phew, disaster :bigjoint: :peace: averted

Well Bobby has posted up his monster 10” plant with burnt tips a few times. I personally wouldn’t take anything he says with a grain of salt just looking at his plant that’s for sure.
