It can work but theres several things that can and will go wrong on occasion, ive thrown bag seeds outside on the ground in my planter on the porch only to come outside a week later to see a seedling growing, also have planted a few seeds that i got online and planted straight to soil inside my tent that didnt pop,I’ve been told to just plant my seeds in my wet coco straight from thE packet and cover the pot with Cling film untill they pop up then remove cling film has any one heard of this ??
I'm not a fan of covering them with plastic.......too much of a chance for nasties to grow in that environment.
Those are plenty big to hold the moisture, just keep the soil temps up.Just mist the top of the coco to keep it moist.
I prefer 75F. Control thing. But 72-82 is good. Just watch for moisture excess. It is more important. Bog doesn't grow much. Besides "nasties". Make sure your medium is damp not wet at all times. And give the sprout air a few times daily until the first true leaves. Then continue keeping moist until it has enough roots to handle true watering. Those are plenty big to hold the moisture, just keep the soil temps up.
Ground temp is 80f/26.7c according to your thermometer.
Good news ...you still have time to undo itTook some doing
Your call.Should I take the plastic of or leave it on
Just looked. Oh boy. Poke a couple holes in the plastic with a tooth pick. The day after they pop, remove and discard plastic. My plastic is a dome. Get one or a few. Cut pop, soda bottle bottoms of and use. Or a cheap rectangular storage container, plastic and clear. Just provide ventilation water until established. You'll know.Should I take the plastic of or leave it on
