retires that “dont care for it” , good people with no interest and plenty of fresh veggies from the other garden hahaWOW! How do you keep your neighbors at bay? Just a rhetorical question.

I agree. I hand trim the best kolas and all my personal stash. But all the popcorn and small stuff I bag it. All the trum and trichomes make awesome kief, better hash. 99% of people can't tell the difference. My bag shit is better than 75% of what is in dispensary. Not saying there’s anything wrong with the trim bag per say but, it’s not for me personally. I personally won’t use anything that beats the shit out of my flower. That’s a lot of unnecessary lost trichs imo. I grow for quality and I’ve learned over my years of growing that beating the shit out of them doesn’t help the cause.
I used to think that, but now my body can’t handle 8 hour trim days anymore and if I happen to lose a little trics, I’ll just take a wee bit longer drag on my joint. Not saying there’s anything wrong with the trim bag per say but, it’s not for me personally. Thanks but prefer my stihl lol
I’m building a motorized tumbler, and purchased the 18” fan trimmer. This way I can still hang dry and I have machines at both steps of trimming.maybe the the Buddy Barrel by Greenleaf of California?
That's a really great and pragmatic way to do it. That's experience talking there.Try buying a used greenbroz or triminator dry. Hang dry your plants whole. It takes me 3 weeks to dry my outs. Then I buck and hand trim the tops and machine trim the mid nugs.
Dude.. Are you talking about this thing? The greenbroz trimmer is the only one I would use, it beats up the buds much less than the twister and others I have tried, however any machine trimmer is gonna beat them up some. They make a pretty nice bucker too.
No, they like to rape and gouge folks on those things because they figure folks with 50+ pounds to trim can afford it. Really though, 3 pounds is nothing lol, not saying that to diminish your efforts in any way but in my eyes it probably wouldn't even justify renting a trimming machine, well maybe if they do half day rentals. I don't remember where you are at but out here in Colorado many grow shops rent out trimming machines by the day.I hate trimming... Is there anything under $1000 that wont fuck up the buds?
Im thinking somewhere around 3 lbs .
Wet trim tends to gunk up the machines but I have done wet with a twister T4, the old trim pro table from like 15 years ago lol. Some/most machines work better with fresh cut where the sugar leaves aren't smashed against the buds. Different machines work better in different ways. 3 pounds isn't even enough to really figure out how the machine likes to run lol. Some machines are terrible at doing smaller nugs, some are great at it and there is still the bucking and de-fanning that has to be done by hand. Also, why dry trim? Isnt it easier wet?
There's no renting going on here. Guess im stuck with it. It takes us like 12 to 16 hours to do a pound... Me and the wife.. Never heard of it.Hear anything about that wander trim? Hooks to a dryvac...
Never heard of it.
Something like that you might as well just hand trim, I would imagine you spend more time cleaning resin off that things blade than you do trimming with it lol.
