I know only senators get to ask the damn questions.

If it were up to me, a few common people would get to ask questions for 5 minutes. Being that it's supposedly a representative democracy and all.

I wouldn't mind seeing a couple reporters get 5 minutes either.

I'd like to know:

What are your feelings about Merrick Garland? Was he treated fairly?

From a non legal standpoint, do you think the ACA is a good thing or a bad thing and why?

Is the constitution outdated? If you were helping to write it today, what should be in it that is not in the original?

Would you still love all of your daughters if one of them was gay or had an abortion?

If you truly believe associate justices are non partisan, how do you explain so many 5-4 decisions along party lines?

Were Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia of equal value and who did more to get you where you are today?

Do you think the 1971 Muhammad Ali case would be unanimous today as it was then?

Who does your hair?

My time has expired, I probably didn't get any direct answers either.

The best they can do is try to get her to perjure herself and later impeach her over it. If they had a big enough majority in the senate they could impeach all 3 of Trump's judges, impeachment is a political act, not a legal one. They could simply prove Trump cheated to win in 2016 and was illegitimate, then impeach his appointees. It would be constitutional and legal, but not popular and would cost them, maybe. It might be possible to impeach judges after 2022 though, depending on how well the democrats hang the dirty deeds of Trump on them, or they get primaried by a bigger nut case who the lunatic base likes better.

There are 23 senate republican seats up for grabs this time and I can't imagine a greater disaster for the republicans than Trump and covid, unless it's Trump with covid, so ya never know. Also the vote for confirmation is on the 22 of October, three GOP senators are down with the plague and the way they are acting a lot more should come down with it soon too. They are gonna ram this appointment through even if it kills them and it might very well do that.

idk but it's quite the rats nest- a good hair iron + the right product would do wonders..i can't believe the person who does her hair hasn't made suggestions.

Should someone on a criminal trial be able to have their case heard by a judge they appointed?

Would you have the moral fortitude to stand back and stand by with your judicial nomination so that the American people are not put in a place of panic about your being appointed in this rushed pre-ordained process at the wishes of Dear Leader Trump.

Not really to the point, but I would love to see Chomsky and Obama appointed to SCOTUS

I’d also like to see a requirement that nominees have been on the federal bench for a MINIMUM of TEN years before consideration

As I sit hear reading some of your reply’s and to be honest I’m kind of disgusted. I thought this was a place we’re growers and smokers talked about herb and herb related topics. After I went threw a few threads I’m gunna sign out and probably not come back. Some of you should be ashamed of yourselfs. Some of theses comments are just disgusting and I really would rather not be associated with some of the liberal scum that troll these sights. Good luck to all of you and hopefully someday u won’t be so trashy and disgusting

Why would you assume that they are actually people and not foreign trolls? You also have the option to ignore people if you feel that strongly about it.
