Should I use a exhale co2 bag for my setup

Hey guys, so I'm running 2 small 3x3 tents in our 2br apartment and was curious if I should hang an exhale bag on the wall in-between the tents, that way they could each pull the extra co2 from the room. Into the tents. I was curious 1. If anyone thinks those exhale bags would benefit my setup. 2. If I should worry about the increase in co2 ppm in the house as we have a dog here with my gf and I. 3. Sometimes we have guests that stay in the spare room, would it be ok for them to sleep in the room with the exhale bag hanging a few feet away from them?

LOL I was just thinking about these bags. I think the big questions we need to know are, what lights are you using, what is your relative humidity, and what are your day/night temps like? Your setup has to be pretty dialed in to benefit from co2.
 
Those bags are basically worthless. If you were to gain any slight benefit from them they would have to be inside of the tent with no exhaust fan running. They don't put off enough Co2 to justify the cost. The reason they can sell them is because people buy them. Not because they produce enough Co2 to make a difference. You need a sealed area to even bother with Co2. Otherwise it just dissipates and is lost. But those bags are a complete waste of money sealed room or not.

Save your money or use it on other things like additional lighting that can provide an immediate benefit to your grow.

All I needed to know lol. My humidity goes from around 45-60% and nighttime temps hit around 72f and daytime goes around 83F
 
What they said on the baggies.

Small apartment, could, have an already elevated Co2 level. A Co2 meter would confirm.

Lighting, nutrients, proper temps and rh are way more important than Co2, imo.

It's useless if you run extraction as others have said. I went and got a co2 bucket, but I took it out because of all the air exchange I needed in my tent to be in optimal conditions. I may toss it in my tent now tho. Temps are up to 82-83F max and don't go under 78F. I have my extraction on the lowest setting just so the humidifier doesn't over do it. (But again I may be wasting most of it)
 
Unless Dos-si-do is ultra resistant to heat mines been growing in 90+ temps just fine. Like 2-3 weeks out from harvest. Night temp is like 86-87. So they do do SOMETHING at least. My buddys last run his colas were about 6' from his led with zero issues as well (not quality leds) and the only issue he had was with the one cola that actually touched the light. So even if its not enough co2 compared to a tank it still does have effects.

Flowering in high temp will affect bud quality vs proper temp, are you claiming a co2 bag is allowing you to run higher then recommended temps and not affect bud quality?
 
In my experience.. high heat stretches the buds out.. makes for airy/less dense nugs.

I had the exhale Co2 bag and I monitor co2 with a growtronix controller and it never raise the ppm numbers even after harvest. My room is a 5x5 sealed and no changes at all in ppm.

This is all very useful info. Thanks guys. Definitely not gonna do it. I can't carry a tank into my apartment, that would look pretty weird to the neighbors lol.

More common for beer making then growing really, just get a set of taps too. Put a sign on door, beer maker lives here lol. That’s all I got..
 
You'll get people that will claim these bags are worth it but that's all they are is claims. Many have extraction fans running and don't even comprehend how to use Co2 effectively. I'm not saying Co2 is not a beneficial addition to a grow environment. But it has to be done properly and those worthless Co2 bags are nothing but a waste of money. You might as well buy a couple mushroom growing kits. That way you'll at least get something to eat as the negligible amount of Co2 produced won't do a damn thing.
