How much was the light? Just refuse the delivery if you can otherwise login to Amazon and try to cancel the order.

How handy are you? The cheapest way is DIY and we can show you how pretty easy. But its not for everyone and there are some decent pre-assembled options depending on your budget
Diy led?
I run 9 600w hid. Is there truly an equal when ot comes to led?

both have their pros and cons. plenty of evidence on RIU of how good led can do if you search. In a space that is only 4ft high, I will say led is going to yield more than hps simply due to it being easier to control environment and temps. in a space that is only 18x36" its also going to be easier to get more even coverage w led due to the height restrictions. cost in diy led vs hps is minimal in a space this small. if you have the space for 5400w of hid, its a totally different discussion. lighting all that w led would be more efficient and cheaper on the electric bill, (assuming that each 600 covers a 4x4 area, you could replace each 600w w 480w of led) but a lot more expensive up front.

So the big question... Will i absolutely yield the same or better?

I cant answer that as I've never grown at your scale. I would start a new thread and ask people who have made the switch from hps to led.

ill say this it was much easier for me to hit a gram/watt with led than hps due to not having as much environmental and heating issues to worry about.

Welp it can in and I have her all set up . Pretty bright in my opinion . Had weight . Didn’t feel cheap or chinsey . So far so good . Question . I have seedlings going 4 . Currently . Waiting for sex to drop to one or two . Do I use both switches now or just the veg ? I’m getting conflicting answers

Okay cool . I was getting conflicting answers . Some of my readings were saying both buttons for all phases . But than I’ve read the bloom light during veg will cause stretchy stems and make plants have many stems . Than I’ve read it will increase the speed of growth using both together . So idk . Figured I’d ask the gurus lol first time trying indoor

Could depend on the light too, look in the book that comes with the light it will tell you plus the distance it needs to be placed...rhe burple I have said to run 1 switch and then both
