Things are getting dangerous-Walmart preparing for violence

Walmart announced Thursday that it has removed ammunition and firearms from sales floors at its U.S. locations in anticipation of "civil unrest" in parts of the country.
The retail giant said it will still sell guns and ammunition at its stores where offered, but would remove them from public displays following looting in Philadelphia this week.

So are you considering that things may get crazy next week? Or is it all hype?

Are you voting? Do you anticipate suppression efforts in your area? Riots? Are you taking any special precautions to ensure your safety?

Or will it just be another election?

The civil unrest Walmart responded to wasn't about the election. Civil unrest will continue as long as cops kill people they are paid to protect.

I'm a little bit nervous, I'm in Trump territory and when he doesn't win the election they're going to be pissed off out here. I have no problem punching some angry belligerent Trumpers face in if they get too rowdy.

As far as Walmart taking firearms off the shelf......GOOD. Walmart is a grocery store. Why would someone go to Walmart to buy a gun anyways?

Oh no, this is definitely not going to be "just another election"
Trump opened up Pandora's Box, and let out all the evil/anger/desperation in American's hearts/souls that has been simmering for decades.
If it possibly could be construed as a positive, Trump did actually kick America in the balls & show us/the World that we are seriously fucked up & in desperate need of help.
Nah, things ain't gonna get better when Trump loses, we're too fucked up anyway.
Trump just brought all our worst elements too the forefront in the span of 4 years.
That's what he'll really be remembered for.

I admit that I do get other things than groceries from Walmart. I buy a random pack of Hanes socks/t shirts and all my jeans for work. Walmart has Rustler jeans for like $12-13 and they are hands down the toughest work jeans you can buy, plus, nothing says "I'll kick your ass" like a pair of Rustler jeans

I think it is a lot of hype along with a few groups of nuts and loners that may use it as an excuse to be violent.

A whole lot of amplification of those few will make it look like America is burning.

1. Giants win championship in 2014
2. Lakers win championship.
3. Vancouver after losing the Cup.
4. Crazy white people randomly rioting after sporting events.

I'll just say it. I don't think we are going to have a civil war. Not now and not after the election. Not for the foreseeable future.

A majority of U.S. adults (55%) now express at least some support for the movement, down from 67% in June amid nationwide demonstrations sparked by the death of George Floyd. The share who say they strongly support the movement stands at 29%, down from 38% three months ago.

Most Americans, they support social justice. This is why the country is drifting to the left. Also why the radical right minority are upset and fruitlessly talking about civil war. But they aren't enough to matter at the national level. Except as terrorists. On the individual level, agree that they can do some harm. Cowardly losers.

I get a kick out of your choices of photos:

USA citizens burning shit up

A Canadian and an Aussie making out in the road while everyone politely looks the other way.

(I know shit got stupid in Vancouver, and that Canadians can be as dumb as anyone when it comes to wrecking shit over sports. It was just the juxtapostion that tickled me.)
